Sunlite Handlebar Shims

Good basic item, fit well, works well.

Worked perfectly. I couldn't get my handlebars snugged down tight enough. This did the trick.

I recently bought one that was the wrong size shim for my fiido ebike which had a low handlebar after I got a bar from my pops. My dad had a bmx handlebar laying around that has just the height I needed. Got it home to install only to find out the clamp was a little bigger than the bmx bar itself. I’m so happy I found this one here on Amazon. It’s going to be fun cruising around this summer.

I tried shimming the gooseneck on my bike using random aluminum, and metal that I had bent...they all sucked. I just ordered these. They arrived a day later, and boom...job done right. Now, time to ride my bike!

I bought an 7/8 inch handlebar for my MTB, which has a 1 inch handlebar clamp on the stem; so I ordered this shim. They are about 1-1/2 inch long, 1/16 inch thick, made of alloy, and look solid. As noted they are for adapting 7/8 inch handlebars to 1 inch stems. The outside is ribbed thorughout (not only on two spots like on the picture), and the inside is smooth (which makes sense because the handlebar itself is ribbed). They have a little hole (I guess to drain water that might seep into the stem). The shim fitted perfectly, and so far the handlebar sits as firm and solid as it can be!I noticed some confusion in other reviews about the term "pair". "Pair" refers to the two halves as shown in the picture, and both are sold as together in a package as a single item- like "a pair of socks" is a left and a right sock, sold together in a single package!
