Q: I noticed that a buyer said their product was damaged and they could not return, that doesn't seem right. Why should the buyer assume transport risk?

They shouldn’t and it’s terrible business practice. My only thought behind the reasoning is they are a direct import from Japan with literally no way to return them. My guess is the importer pays a huge fee to import these and tacks it onto the price. Therefore, they don’t want to pay the return shipping. That or they literally take them back from Japan through customs. I’ve bought them before and was satisfied with them but I would just by the American market version of Boss coffee next time. The exact same product and you now have the ability to return it if damaged.
