This is a great dog water faucet
This is a great dog water faucet, I have seen many complaints about people saying it doesn't give their dog enough water and that it is due to water pressure that is false. I have 90 psi coming out of my faucets.(That is very high) That being said this item gave my dogs access to water but I personally still didn't feel like enough water was coming out. I took it apart to see if it had a pressure reducer and it did. I removed it and it works great now. You have two options with the pressure reducer remove it completely or drill a bigger hole. I removed it completely. I'll add pictures and give basic steps in doing this. If you don't understand after this there is no hope for you. Jk One more thing please click on the helpful box if this helped you. I took time out of my life to give you guys some helpful information. Thank you and have a great day.1. Pull rubber washer with screen off. Its hard just a little tedious with big fingers.2. Push on the part the dogs lick up and that will remove the water reducer. That will be a little washer with a tiny hole.3. Reassemble everything back. Your good to go.

Cool, Fresh Water On Demand
We have owned two of these for over 5 years and absolutely love them, one for our front yard & one for the back. The breeder we got our dog from actually recommended it, as all her puppies already know how to use it when she send them home. We bought one right away and our dog loves it. Zero issues with it dripping. We don't have to worry about the water bowl getting gross or knocked over. We do have hard water so it tends to get some buildup on it which can restrict the amount of water that flows through, so I soak it in white vinegar, scrub with a toothbrush and it works as good as new. We'll never go back to the bowl & plan to train all future dogs how to use this. I feel it's much more hygienic too.

Puppy friendly
The media could not be loaded. We have the lixits in all of our kennels so our bulldogges have clean, fresh, cool water all the time, and they need it in this heat. It keeps us from having to clean nasty drool filled bowls too. The lixit is one of the best things we’ve used. Plus, it’s easy to learn, and the puppies love it.

Great device that doesn’t leak
Best self watering dog device hands down, tried two others and they fail after a few months and leak or stick open

Best money ever spent on the well-being of my dogs.
I purchased two, one for the front and back yard spigots (recommend using with this y-gate based on user reviews and positive customer support response comments www.amazon.com/gp/product/B083BPRPS2/).Although these did require a slight modification first, it works perfectly and my 2 mastiffs absolutely love it. No more are the days of daily dumping, scrubbing, cleaning the outside water bucket to ensure they has fresh, clean water. Also, even when the bucket was clean, the water would get so warm during a hot day that I doubt it was very much refreshing. Now they get clean, fresh and COLD water straight from the spigot. I've watched them from the window and their tails wag while drinking. They ring their doorbell to go outside to drink and rarely uses their indoor bowl except at mealtime.Modification: the flow control plate on the inside has far too small of an opening to keep my dogs' interest. The flow is just too minimal. Some have recommend using a small drill bit to open it slightly but in order to do this properly you'd need to clamp onto the plate's edge in order to safely drill the opening larger, possibly damaging the edges and leading to leaking once installed. I simply placed it on a soft piece of wood and took a common nail and placed it on the hole and gave a few light taps with a hammer, opening it just to my liking but not too much (about 1/3 larger in diameter).

One Star for the Product, Zero Stars for the Company
I bought this dog spigot nozzle in hopes it would be a smart, water-saving solution for my pup—something like a lick-activated water fountain, kind of like what gerbils use. Sounds clever, right? Unfortunately, this thing is all promise and zero delivery. From the second it was installed, it leaked. Constantly. It dribbled water nonstop whether the dog touched it or not—just a slow, steady stream that would fill a bowl every five minutes. That may not sound like much, but do the math: that’s gallons upon gallons of water pouring out 24/7. Not only is it wasteful, it turned our dog’s play area into a swampy mud pit. Hope your pup likes puddles, because mine now lives in a marsh. We tried everything: reseating it, tightening it, adjusting the connection. Nada. The internal toggle mechanism simply doesn’t seal properly. It’s clearly defective, and here’s the kicker—the company won’t accept a return. They claim it’s “unreturnable,” even though it’s still well within the 30-day window. So now I’m out the cost of the product and bracing for the water bill from hell. I don’t normally leave angry reviews, but this one earned it. If you value your time, your wallet, and your lawn, skip this junk. It’s not a cute little water saver—it’s a constant leak that the company won’t take responsibility for. This product doesn’t work as advertised, wastes resources, and leaves you stuck with the consequences. Total garbage.Save your money and move past this trinket.

Works well for a short time.
I’ve used dog licks for the past 40 years at least. They are so convenient for outside. I’ve never had a problem with one and my dogs love them. I expect this one to work just as well.Update - this one has started dripping.
