I bought this soil for a little bonsai tree I rescued on the clearance rack at Lowe's. I don't know anything about bonsai trees so I just started researching and this soil is what I found. I have to say this soil is fantastic, it is a very good quality, the mix is exactly the way it should look and be. The contents of the bag fit perfectly in my little pot so it was spot on in the amount that you get. It drains easily and does not hold water around your tree's root system. It look like there was a perfect mix of dirt, bark, etc. I think it was a great value for my money, and although I don't know a whole lot about bonsai trees, I do know that my little bonsai tree is doing fantastic now and I'm glad I rescued it.

Not sure if it was the plant or soil but as soon as I planted a small sprig in a pot of this soil, in 2 days side sprigs were sporting. It could have been the water but I'm going to go with the soil on this one.

Great soil for starting seedlings except the really big pieces of bark that add up in weight away from actual soil

Looks like a great product to mix with the other soil I was buying. Good drainage, good nutrition and the price was great. Order not delivered, but refund is on the way and I will be reordering.

This is just regular soil. I ordered different bonsai soil and it is all rocks mostly like it is supposed to be. This is just dirt.
