Old Fashioned Milk Paint, Mustard Color, Model 1050, Pint

This brand is good too (I'm a fan of Miss Mustardseed). It works just as well-as I have tried other "milk paints" in a can from other manufacturers that were not good-they were actually toxic, and that's part of why i buy it, its nontoxic. This one has more warnings re the lye used in the mfg of the product I don't see on MMS paints (maybe its true of all milk paint). This color is ok, not my favorite, but I haven't tried it straight up yet, only blended it. I'm truthfully scared to see what it is without white to wash it out/tone it down. Maybe on the right piece...it is however less expensive. Bonus!

I needed a little farmhouse mustard yellow dresser in my life and lemme tell you, that this paint is so fun to work with. If you want perfection, this is not the paint for you but if you want a chippy, unique piece, buy this.It will crack, chip and distresses itself, which is exactly what I was looking for. It adds so much warmth and character to this space and I'll continue to purchase other colors for other peices of furniture I plan on refinishing.

I have been painting furniture for years and I must say this is the worst paint product I have ever worked with! I don't care how you mix it it will not dissolve completely. It appears like it has until you start painting with it. What you get is flecks of undesolved powder!
