This is an old style and not as adaptable as the newer ones. No laces. New ones are 5 star.
This is an older style of Billy shoes. The larger sizes are YOUTH sizes, and appear to be very comparable to other brands youth sizes. The Youth size 6 is comparable to a woman's size 8 - perfect for me. I purchased a pair of mis-matched (in size) shoes for one of my grandsons from their website. He needs one shoe to be 2 sizes larger than the other in order to accommodate his (brace) AFO in one shoe. The size 6 fit me perfectly so I ordered this pair for me - the only problem is that this older style is narrower than the newer style and cannot be adjusted like the newer style can be. These shoes would be perfect for someone with an average or narrow width foot; I needed the extra flexibility to adjust the width to wear over AFO's on both feet. Had to return them. (These shoes have a wedge of elastic that does adjust to the foot, but it does not adjust nearly as much as the ones with laces. )

Not for Afo/smo
I was very hopeful that these shoes would fit with my child's smo. That was not the so. It would not even zip up around the front. other than that the shoes was very well made. It was cute and looked comfy.

Could have been better
Wasn’t what we expected! My daughter used braces on her legs and we were looking forward to these since she usually wears high tops and they didn’t fit at all

Love these shoes. The AFOs fit in them easily and they are such a breeze to zip. They look beautiful and girlie on, which is a bonus.
