Fantastic, HUGE Popcorn Bowl. Seller Went Above and Beyond.
My daughter asked for a large stainless steel popcorn bowl for Christmas. This bowl is perfect, and she loves it! As other reviewers have mentioned, this bowl is not made of a thick, heavy duty stainless steel. But nonetheless, it is more than adequate for popcorn, mixing large amounts of ingredients, or making bread dough.I want to compliment the seller, HDS Company. The bowl was marked as delivered by UPS, although my daughter has cameras all around her property, and she received no deliveries that day. HDS Company filed a claim with UPS and sent a replacement bowl. They were responsive and professional in all of our communications.

Great for the big batches of a healthy breakfast meal I put together monthly and freeze in mason jars for future use
I am not a cook at all but like to make batches of highly nutritious breakfast meals consisting of (organic always when possible) whole eggs, tempeh, whey protein, spinach, kale, broccoli, tomato sauce, sauteed onions, coconut flour, almond flour, coconut oil, olive oil, nuts and nut butters, cumin, turmeric, curry, other spices, apple cider vinegar, chicken broth, parmesan cheese, mustards, garlic, ginger, pepper, salt, spices, and a few other ingredients. This is great for mixing all the ingredients together and putting in mason jars and freezing them for later use. Capacity of this bowl is huge. Though I don't know how they measure the 20 quart - I would say more like 16-18 quart capacity when I tested it. Solidly built - for home use - not for hardcore restaurant use of course. The bowl has other alternative uses: also use it to wash my miniature teacup dogs and as a bird feeder for the California Condors in the back yard, and also as a wading pool for neighborhood kids when I'm not using it for cooking purposes. Also good for soaking feet with epsom salts or dieing clothes - doesn't stain like a plastic bucket. (ps all of the alternative uses were a joke but I'm sure would work if one wished - I exclusively use it for once per month food prep). Though it is used relatively infrequently it is taking care of some food prep project of good food that lasts me for a month at a time - so well worth it - better than scattering stuff in various smaller bowls and trying to get the proportions right - when all stirred together in one pot that makes it infinitely easier!

Enormous, Lightly-Built Bowl
This bowl is very, very, very large.Take 5 gallons of milk and set it in front of you. That's how much this bowl is designed to hold. You could use it to bathe a Golden Retriever, it is that large.I'm admittedly a bit of an idiot for not doing the above calculation before buying the bowl. I was also slightly enamored with the price. This bowl is a case of "you get what you pay for." It is indeed stainless steel and it does hold enough liquid to feed a family of hamsters for a year, but it is also crafted from incredibly thin steel. The bowl, despite it's size, weighs very little and consequently is very bendy. The bottom of the bowl deforms incredibly easily, popping in and out of shape with loud "TONG" noises (think of a shrill, cheaply made gong). It cannot handle heavy doughs for making large batches of bread and even when you assign it the simple task of holding popcorn, the bottom will occasionally reform like a spring and launch your popcorn over the edge of the bowl.Finding a home for the bowl is also a pain. I live in a small apartment and the only place it would fit out of sight was wedged on it's side, under my sink.If you need something that holds that much and aren't looking to spend much money, this is a very large, stainless steel bowl that will do that job. For me, well I ended up gifting it to my father, an experienced cook, as a backup bowl and instead purchased the Browne Foodservice S878 which was built much sturdier and was the size I was originally looking for.

PERFECT LARGE POPCORN BOWL
PERFECT LARGE popcorn bowl for my husband who can eat the two large tubs of popcorn in a movie theatre within 15 mins. It is pretty huge. After reading other reviews about how large it is, I thought I was getting a GINORMOUS metal bowl--I was worried at that point. It came within 2 days and I opened it up and it was EXACTLY the size I was looking for....HUGE enough to appease a REAL popcorn lovers appetite but not GINORMOUSLY huge--if that makes sense. Haha. And yes, I will have to agree with other reviews that the bottom of the bowl is pretty thin--which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I'm not one to leave "negative" comments, but this one is worth mentioning. It doesn't matter so much to us because we will only use it (for now) as a popcorn bowl.

Lightweight stainless
OK. If you are looking for a heavy duty grade stainless steel bowl, this isn't it. The metal is thin but it is functional. I have an old 10 quart bowl that is much heavier stainless steel but I bought it twenty years ago when products were meant to last a long time. This bowl, I believe, will last a long time if properly taken care of but if you bang it around, it will dent. Mine came with several dents on the bottom but they were all cosmetic. I guarantee this bowl will dent or flatten if abused. It is very thin stainless steel but it is a good value for the price. Where else are you going to find a 20 Q bowl for $13? The finish wasn't perfect but overall, it is functional and should work for a long time

Some big friggin bowl...
Have you ever been adding ingredients to your current puny mixing bowl and had a wtf moment where you end up dumping everything into your lobster pot because your bowl isn't big enough? Well never again! 20 bucks shipped and all that the bowl asks of me is to find a magically deep cupboard to store it in? SOLD! Be a man, bust out the power drill, put a sharp bit in it, and drill a hole in the edge of this goliath stainless behemoth and hang it on a hook. Or find a magical cuprboard... Whatever. Either way, it is as advertised, the bottom metal is thin, but what else would you expect from China? When you're debating with your drunken friends and they ask you to name 1, just one quality item from China, NOW you have an answer... This absurdly large mixing bowl! Buy it, and be the master of your domain with the ability to stir together a turkey, a duck and a chicken at the same time.
