Not very challenging.
My main problem with this padlock is that it is very very very very easy to pick. The barrel where the key fits in is very slack - when you put your tension wrench in it just flops about.(no jokes please) it doesn't mirror a proper lock at all. When you manage to get purchase with the wrench and then rake with a pick it will just open. You could pick this lock with a bent pin (i have). It is i suspect more of a teaching aid than i useful device.I am a fairly experienced (amateur) lock picker so i bought this to keep me sharp - i am very disappointed with it.I will give it to a budding picker who will no doubt find it helpful.

Broke almost immediately
This padlock broke within a couple hours of use (not even for picking! Just being locked and unlocked with the keys provided!)Really disappointing

Very poor quality, broke within 10 minutes
Sorry, I don’t like to write poor reviews but both the lock and the pick are substandard. Both broke, the padlock fell to pieces and and top fell off the pick and it’s not through any lack of experience. Honestly, I would steer well clear of buying these items

Tool broke on first use
The very first time I tried to use the tool, whilst applying only very gentle pressure, the tip of the tool broke off in the lock. The tip is made from a separate piece of metal and whatever method was used to bond it to the main shaft was insufficiently strong for the purpose. I may try soldering it back on. A pity because the tool seemed adequate otherwise. I can't really comment on the lock as without a functioning pick, I can't use it for the purpose I bought it for. It seems similar to other transparent locks I have, with rather a lot of play between the shackle and plastic lock body. But these locks are really just good for working out where things are and getting a rough idea of how to feel one's way around before moving on to the real thing.

Too easy
I consider myself a newbie in Locksport.I was able to open this lock on my first day with my new picks:1. By shimming2. By raking3. By bumping4. By single-pin pickingIt's a pity as the rest of the padlock is quite solid. And if you cover the transparent part and rely on tactile / sound feedback, it's a good practice lock.

Not bad for the money and the intended purpose.
I bought the clear padlock with a tensioner and 2 picks. The picks are ok, about average for cheap ones. The tensioner isn't machined very well but again it's a very cheap set. As for the lock, the biggest downfall is the large number of plastic components including the core itself which is not particularly durable, the tolerances are very sloppy as you'd expect for the price point and only 3 of the 6 pins are active on the one I received, the others sit at the shear line by default. Overall I'd say it's ok if it's your very first lock you ever pick, it's decent to show the principles but if you have any other locks that you've been able to pick this is pointless.

It's a first step and probably worth buying
I've given 3 stars because I can now open it with basically anything. However, I am not discouraging you from buying one as it did work for purpose and for the price and the materials used (As in its plastic so it can be transparent) I wouldn't really expect it to hold its tolerances.

Not the best
The metal work is very rough on this and I have had to pick some of it out so it doesn’t fall into the mechanism. Not bad for the price but certainly could be betterAlso the bitting is very very simple and even though it’s 6 pin you only really have to move 2 pins and it will open. Good to see the mechanism and feel the pins but not a good item to learn with at all
