Excellent value and goes well with Schmidt's refills although it requires some modification.
Excellent quality and balance. Very comfortable writer. I'm using Schmidt Fineliner 6040 with some modification and fits well. Will recommend to people for everyday writing.

Well-designed, smooth pen
A beautiful pen with a nice heft to it. I have fairly large hands and it’s comfortable to write with. Very smooth writing, with no scratchiness from the rollerball.

My new favorite pen; takes multiple refills
I liked the brushed stainless steel gold trim version of this pen so much that I had to buy the black lacquer, too. A very slim, light weight, elegantly-styled pen. Diameter at the grip is only about 8 mm, so may feel too small for men with large hands, but it's perfect for people like me who prefer a thinner, lighter metal-body pen. I really don't care for the included "Fine" Waterman rollerball ink cartridge, which I would call "Bold." Fortunately, in addition to the Waterman refills that the pen is designed to use, this pen body will also accept Uni-Ball Jetstream or Pilot G-2 refills with no modification, and can use Uni-Ball Signo 207 or Pentel EnerGel refills if you trim a bit of plastic (about 2 mm) from the end of the refill. With this slim pen, a micro-fine 0.38mm Pilot G-2 refill is just about perfect for me. My two Waterman Hémisphères are my new favorite pens for business meetings or formal settings. Very nice gift box, too. Update 12/2/21: After adding the blue lacquer and the stainless steel chrome trim pens to my collection, I now own this pen in four finishes. In addition to the refills mentioned in my original review, the Hémisphère also takes Pilot Precise V5 RT rollerball refills with no modification, providing a finer point alternative for people who like rollerball ink refills.

Beautiful and Impractical
This pen is gorgeous. The gold-colored parts look real and not cheap at all, and even the steel-colored sections have a brushed finish but comfortably smooth feel. While it's heavier than a Bic pen, this does overall feel very light and elegant for a more heavy-duty luxury pen. It also writes very well and doesn't bleed like cheaper roller ball pens ted to do after regular use. The bad? The gold-colored metal pieces tend to tarnish fairly quick, mainly on the clip for mine. The actual section you hold the pen at it a little small, so people with bigger hands or fingers may have difficulty holding this comfortably. Honestly, I have smaller hands, and it feels like I have to squeeze my fingers together to get a decent grip. Speaking of which, the grip itself is not the most comfortable, and may affect how well you write with it. While the actual inflow is decent, I feel like I run out of ink in my refills faster than some other pens of this type, which is annoying when Waterman refills tend to be slightly more expensive than generic brands. Though you don't need to buy Waterman refills any more than you need to spend this much on a pen.

Best pen I have ever held in my hand.
Perfectly balanced, uses Pilot G2 refills (G2 was my go to pen), and looks like a million bucks! Writes way better than a Mont Blanc! I have been looking for a nice pen for years - I have a nice Cross roller ball but it's not this nice, I've used Mont Blancs, and all kinds of fountain pens, ink pens, markers, pencils, but this is the LAST pen I will buy (unless I wear it out or lose it!). If you are looking for a very classy roller ball pen, that feels great, looks great, writes great - this is THE pen!

Ridiculous quality control, ridiculous customer support
This $40 pen was received in original manufacturer packaging with no ink! No tip, no ink tube in what was supposed to be a brand new $40 rollerball pen. I attempted to contact the manufacturer via recommendation by Amazon but contact failed due to Capcha failure on the Waterman website, after I went through the trouble of entering all required information and uploading pics. So, I'm returning this item and will be not be looking for another Waterman pen. There are plenty of other manufacturers of nice pens out there.

Excelente producto para profesionistas, proyecta elegancia y es de peso muy ligero. Lo que no me gustó es que dice ser para punto fino, pero realmente el punto fino lo siento punto mediano en esta marca. Pero es buen producto.
