Saved me from thousands of dollars of facial reconstruction surgery
I feel compelled to write this as this mask not only saved me from thousands of dollars of facial reconstruction surgery but could have very well saved my life.I play adult men's slow pitch, Silver/Gold USSSA and this past weekend the mask severed its purpose after a year of wearing it. NSA hitting 400/44s so they are rock hard balls. Easily 100+mph shot to 3rd struck a rock and redirected the ball into what would have been my right eye socket. The play was over in a blink of an eye and in the end I suffered no concussion only a bruise above my right ears from where the back of mask compressed into my head.The mask took no structural damage (no broken welds) simply have a new yellow color coating from the ball.Amazed at how well it held up and everyone was impressed that how devastating the blow was, it showed little to no affect on me.I owe my vision and possible life to this $40 product. If you play men's softball at a tournament level, you should buy this or something similar. A freak rock would have cost me thousands of dollars in reconstruction-surgery, this past weekend.

Rip it better than champ Pro
Spend the extra money and buy the rip it over the champ Pro mask. I have one of each the padding in the champ Pro mask is super stiff and uncomfortable for my little girl to wear. I actually went out and had to replace all the padding in it with the rip it mask padding, which made it then cost as much if not a little more than just buying the rip it mask. If your kids going to be playing for any kind of timeframe more than just one season spend the extra money you won't regret it!

An absolute must for anyone playing softball at any level ...
An absolute must for anyone playing softball at any level. I'm an adult and the pitcher for my softball team. For years I wondered why people wore these masks. Then, I took a line-drive to the face, fracturing 3 bones. I was lucky and slowed the ball by catching a piece of it with my glove before it made impact. It still managed to careen off the right side of my face and made it all the way back into left field. No surgery was needed, but it literally shifted my teeth. It took about 8 months to feel somewhat normal again and I still have lingering nerve damage/pain. If you play the infield and especially if you pitch....BUY THIS.

Works great for 7yr old
My 7yr old uses this to keep her pretty face protected while practicing playing catch. No complaints from her. We are working with a smaller softball but it does not go through the mask when we checked. Completely satisfied with this purchase.

Works great
My daughter started softball this year, we had troubles finding a face-shield that would fit her since she is 7. This one works great, its adjustable so it should fit her for a long time. It is lightweight compared to some of the other brands we have tried. The only thing is it is a bit more expensive then the others, but I think it is worth it. She is able to see pretty well. Better then most brands, but it is able to stop the softball from hitting her in the face! I would recommend this product to others!

Great product!
I purchased this fielders mask twice, once for each of my softball playing daughters and it is worth it's weight in gold! The masks fit both of them perfectly (they are 8 and 10) and didn't slip at all while they were playing and pitching. The straps were easy to adjust and I was able to get a great fit on both girls. They both said the mask didn't impair their vision of the game either. I'm really happy with these.

Functional, adjustable, but uncomfortable
This mask works. We saw it work very well firsthand. However it is uncomfortable, especially where the pads meet the face. After wearing it for half an inning, there are visible marks on the face where they push into the face. The pads are also a tad irritating to the skin. That being said, the guard itself is perfectly but and the spacing is dead-on. It is adjustable (even the chin position), which is a nice touch

comfortable mask
excellent, very comfortable for my daughter and myself. i borrow hers when she practices pitching with me, i will be getting my own. The adult small fit my 9 1/2 year old daughter perfect, and me as well. My daughter is about 80 lbs and about 53" tall, if that helps. She can see very well with it, no interference.

and say it is comfortable, no vision issues peripherally
Bought this for the pitchers on our 3 Pitch Mixed Softball team - we've seen a couple of guys get hit by line drives back to the mound, and didn't want to take the chance of one of our pitchers being permanently injured. They use this now, and say it is comfortable, no vision issues peripherally, and they don't really notice that they're wearing it anymore as it fits well. They also aren't as afraid to throw the ball over the heart of the plate when there are 2 strikes.

My player wears it.
i had looked at a few other masks before purchasing this.The reason I chose this over the others was because it seemed a bit more sturdy than the ones made of plasticAlso it doesn't block the view or line of sight as much.The most important thing is my kid wears it when playing infield.

Great product.
Great product.....lightweight and no vision issues. After the first game you really forget you have it on. If you are a softball pitcher you need to wear this.....comeback line drives over the mound suck!
