The back of my lighter has two dents or dimples in the back. Is that normal or damaged?!

The other ppl here are straight up lying. The two dots is there for the manufacturing process. I believe it’s where they spot weld the hinge on but none the less it’s on every. And I mean. Every genuine zippo. You can check their website and see it on 99.99% unless stated otherwise. It will have the two dents. It’s not an error if your not a fan I suggest returning it. But with every zippo you buy your gonna get that two dots.

Personly I would not engrave it it's a beautiful lighter.
