The face of the ring is great. 5 stars. But the disappointment came with the part that goes around your finger (the split band). It is very much under designed. The face is big and heavy which is fine but the weak construction and design of the split band concerns me. It is designed to be infinitely adjustable which is fine and necessary but the metal is too weak to feel 100% secure. The bigger the finger you adjust it to the weaker the hold will be. I would just like the split band to be beefed up some and it would be perfect.

giving this one a 4 star as I did not care for the part for your finger to go through. It was bent and I could not get it into the right shape to wear comfortably. I ended up buying one of those stretchy blank rings where you can glue on your own design. I spread the part for the finger straight out to the sides and used E6000 glue to glue it onto the stretchy ring. Worked great, look fabulous and I have a unique ring now to wear with the Punk costume.

Bought this for a steampunk costume. I don't care for the thin, bendable/adjustable ring band, but the rest of the ring is pretty, and looks just like the picture. Parts do not move, but I didn't expect it to. Just wanted to clarify for others looking to purchase. The ring portion could be replaced with something sturdier, but so far it's worked just fine!

I purchased this ring because I wanted something on my hands that was Steampunk. The problem is, while it looks wonderful, it is "adjustable" so the prongs that hold it to your finger can wind up pinching your skin. I think if you put it over gloves, though, this problem might not be so bad for many people, or maybe for people with small fingers. The gears look fabulous on it.

This ring was perfect for what I wanted it for, the only problem is that the front of the ring is very heavy and the actual ring itself is adjustable so with the front being heavy it actually makes the ring uncomfortable to wear. Obviously this is just a novelty ring and not something you wear all the time so it's not really an issue.

This is a great ring, well crafted but there something bad about it and it is that the ring give make you fear of it flying off of your finger.So mainly when I go out somewhere with the ring on, I always have the fear of it flying off, so I mainly think it only good to put on in your house or something.

The face of the ring is okay, it looks good, but the piece is light, not weighted like it appears it would be. The adjustable sizing has some edging to it and it digs into the skin to keep the ring on. There should have been a better way to stabilize the piece on a person's finger without taking 'a pound of flesh'.

The other reviews I read pretty much summed up the problem. It's way too big for a ring and the ring part bends easily and would never hold it on. The piece itself is pretty cool, though, and would make a great necklace. But, if you're looking specifically for a ring, it's doubtful this will work for you.

The ring was bent and the bag was punctured. It was much bigger than I expected, a scale photo should be included. Also thought the gears and such might move, not so lucky. Overall disappointed.

It's looks AWSOME but I was unimpressed with the quality of it.

Huge disappointment. The setting is far too heavy for the very weak adjustable ring band. On first wearing the setting fell off (and I was very careful). A total waste of money I am afraid.
