I don’t understand the bad reviews. It tastes like a hint of vanilla with plant based undertones, you know, since it is plant based, just ever so slightly of peas. I don’t taste the cherry like others commented on. I was totally surprised at how good it tastes after reading the bad reviews! I love this. It doesn’t taste like chemically like the other proteins I’ve used over the years. I had to switch because the dairy was causing body inflammation and cystic acne. I’m sooo glad I found this one. It is powdery/slightly gritty but just deal with it, nothing is perfect and it goes down really well. I mix it with my Starbucks cinnamon and brown sugar k cups. So happy with this product.

For 2 years, I've been searching for a protein powder that won't upset my system. I have a slew of health issues: Lyme Disease, Crohns, Autoimmune Pancreatitis, Insulin Resistance, and Mast Cell Activation Disorder...which means I react to EVERYTHING, including stevia, gluten, leafy greens, vanilla, and most sources of protein. BioChem Vanilla Pea Protein has been such a godsend. I don't get hives. I don't get anaphylaxis. I don't feel nauseated. Is it the BEST tasting stuff in the world? No. If anything, it's a bit too sweet with a slight aftertaste....which I suppose could be corrected with tweaking (I just mix with water). That said, it's WAY better than most vegan protein powders and, with 20grams of protein per serving, more than gets the job done. Thank you, BioChem, for giving me a safe food I can eat AND ENJOY.

We really like this product in smoothies and hot cereal. It mixes in well and tastes good. However, the packaging of the large size is a problem. The good news is that it could easily be fixed. If we all pester Biochem we can encourage them to stop using recycled black plastic containers. Recycled black plastic is too often contaminated with flame retardants from electronic recycling There's no good reason for this protein powder to be in black plastic. Clear or white would be safer and more likely to be recycled. Or better yet, Biochem could us the same type of container used for the smaller size—card board with recyclable metal ends. They changed the packaging in this new formula which broke me out is severe hives and a trip to the ER. Also their new packaging is different form the picture advertised.

Wonderfull, and "it's so tasty too" This brand was recommended to me by a well know hospital Nutritionist whom I met with. I was so happy to find that this company made pure Vegan protein powder. It was told to me that many PEA based protein powders were quite gritty and not the best tasting. This has PEA protein among other yummy plant proteins. 20gm of protein per scoop. The Vanilla is wonderful, it tastes great and mixes well in water, milk and yogurt. Only very mildly gritty, almost imperceptible. I'm back to buy more. Great value for the money.

Tastes great, dissolves well - no chalky unpleasantness - high protein, low sugar. Wish they made single size travel packets.

Hands down best protein powder I've ever tried! I've tried many of the top brands and I've had issues with all of them. I have IBS and cannot tolerate the extra ingredients in many protein powders. After seeing a nutritionist, she told me to look for "clean" powders with no gut irritants, probiotics or prebiotics. I also needed one with no sweeteners, non dairy, and low carb. I found this one and I love it!! I mix it with homemade almond milk, a few strawberries, chia seeds, and cacao powder and OMG it is SO yummy! I am SO happy I found this for my protein needs!

This stuff is good! I can't have soy, whey or egg protein as something in them causes serious acid reflux. I make a shake every morning with a scoop of this, 2.5 cups of almond milk and a cup of spinach. It sounds not too tasty, but I still look forward to drinking it every day.
