I've been interested in trying diamond painting for awhile and I'm glad I started with this. It's the perfect size to see if diamond painting is for you. Everything was in the kit except batteries, everything was labeled. More then enough diamonds came in it. So much fun. I can't wait to buy more. I will add this is not the best quality but it's not terrible.

I ordered two nightlight kits and received them very quickly. But, the pattern does not have adhesive so I have to use a glue stick to put on the gems. The wax pad won't work at all. No stickiness to it. The pen holder can only be used on a few of the gems because it is set for only one size of gem. Also, missing an entire section of gems needed to complete the nightlight. It shouldn't be called or considered an entire kit that ready to get started. You need to make sure you have supplies like glue stick and tweezers on hand in order to get started. I don't want the hassle of returning the two kits. I can purchase the missing gems and have the extra supplies needed. Just wanted to review this because I don't want other buyers to be disappointed.

My 12 yr old daughter really enjoyed doing this project. It was easy and fun for her to complete, didn't take long.

I re-read the description to see if I misunderstood what this was supposed to be and I'm still not sure. I had the impression, even though there were lights on the front, that light still came from the back. It doesn't. That may have been my mistake. To me, it was more of a child's kit. The beads stick onto a piece of cardboard and that cardboard goes onto a hard plastic piece. No light comes through the mandala. I ended up harvesting pieces out of it to use for other crafts.

I’ve done many of these diamond paintings and really love them unfortunately this one can not be done! There is no sticky surface on the canvas!! Therefore it is not possible to stick the beads. Argh!!!!! Very disappointing. Won’t bu buy from this supplier again! All the pieces where there but no way tho keep them on the canvas. To bad it looked like a fun and easy one.

This is a really cheap plastic project , the pieces do not match or fit. Many came broken and the lights don’t work . I worked on it and finally decided it wasn’t salvageable . I do a LOT of diamond art this is a totally waste of time and money . Do not buy. !

I gave it 3 stars for the design and the beads. The case is cheap plastic and the lights, while LED are low quality wire. The real problem was the white wire being in soldered all together! Thankfully, hubby could fix it. I was thinking of giving these as Christmas gifts but. Nope!

Of course I spend hours doing the diamond pattern... Only to find out the darn lights don't work even with fresh batteries.
