Smoooooth.
I be been a Daiwa fan since I was a kid in the 70’s don’t remember ever having a bad one, and I’ve had my share of reels since 1975 )(of all brands). I got to reel one of these at my local BPS a week ago and I thought man this a smooth feeling reel for Daiwa’s lower end. They were sold out but they had them here at Amazon. I bought the 3000 standard and the 3000 that cranks in like 36” per handle turn. They both are fast and they both are smooth and putting 3000 spools on a 2500 frame is pretty clever, I gotta say I like it a lot.

Very Nice reel.
Great reel. Very smooth and fluid bearings. I haven’t caught a fish yet… but it isn’t the reels fault. Quality. Good price and I am an occasional fisherman. Totally satisfied.

Line overlaying on spool
Liked how quiet and smooth it is. Put new braid on to correct length on spool. When reeling, the bail allowed the line to lay outside the edge of spooled line causing bird nest.

Great quality, features and price!
This reel is as smooth as a 100$ reel with 10 bearings... It has a HUGE line capacity... I had to put on around 100 yards of 8lb mono backing BEFORE I put on a full 150 yard spool of 8lb Berkley NanoFil... I couldn't even fit just the NanoFil on my size 30 Pflueger Patriarch XT reel. It has a faster 6.2 to 1 ratio that pulles a FAST 28 inches of line per turn... It just became my favorite reel! And that large handle is comfy to use too! I agree with the other reviewer... great for Walleye!

Fantastic reel
Great spinning reel. Got it to throw on am Ugly Stick rod. Very smooth and I love that the handle is swappable to either side.
