Probably fine but slippery feet
This seems sturdy and well-built. My reason for 3 stars is that the top of the stand and the feet feel more like plastic than rubber. The product description says rubber, but if it is, it's extremely hard like plastic. This makes the stool more slippery than desired.I am not a guitarist, I bought this to use as a stand to rest my baritone saxophone on. Since Amazon delivered it a day later than intended, I went to a local music store and bought one from a different brand, Stageline. I figured I would compare the two and keep the one I liked most. The Stageline stool definitely has softer rubber. This is better for me because I wanted something soft to rest the bottom of my instrument on without scratching it. Also, I tested both on my laminate floor. The Stageline didn't move when pushed, but the K&M slides because of the hard material they used for the feet. So even if I was a guitarist, I would find the K&M annoying when it slips around on a hard floor. So I'll be keeping the Stageline and returning the K&M.The Stageline has 3 height settings compared to K&M's 6, but the overall range of position is about the same. The extra settings might be a consideration for some people, but it didn't outweigh the other factors for me.

Well built and perfect solution
While these and other footrests are typically marketed to classical guitar players i play electric and acoustic guitar. The lowest two settings work for me. Plenty strong enough unless u try to put your full weight on the footrest. K&M makes great products and this is no exception

Sturdy, but some disappointing design choices
The foot stand has SIX level options. The lowest is about 4.25" I wish the lowest height was lower (more like 3") Sometimes I don't need that much of a boost. The highest setting is 10" at the toe and 7.5" at the heel-- which is a good max.The rubber feet extend out sideways, which is nice because it makes the stand more stable. The ridged foot tread is hard plastic, not rubber or silicone. This will probably be more durable, and the ridges do prevent vertical slipping, but I prefer the rubber treads of other stands. Otherwise, the build quality is top-notch.

Every classical guitarist needs one of these
If you play the classical guitar you know that the way you position holding the guitar is essential playing this most intimate of guitar styles. Sit up straight sitting on a chair with no arms, guitar flat against your body and your left foot slightly elevated. It is true you can’t see your fretboard from this position however it puts your right hand in perfect position to free stroke or rest stroke the strings. It also puts your left hand in a more relaxed position. This foot stand is a few dollars more than other ones but it is well worth the investment. Remember, warm up your hands, play your scales and love what you play.

Sturdier than many
This K&M (Konig & Meyer) foot stool is very similar in size and shape to several others on the market. This one appears better made and a bit sturdier than a very similar one I have used for several years. What I don't like about my former stool is that every time I pick it up, the bar that engages the notches beneath the foot rest drops out and then it is a two-hand operation to get it back where it belongs. The K&M stool mechanism is stiff enough to stay engaged when picked up, and so it is much easier to live with. It weighs slightly more than my former foot stool, so there is more metal in the device which translates to a bit stronger. I rate this one as higher quality overall.

Sturdiest, best footrest for classical guitar
It’s made in Germany and is a Mercedes to the other Kia foot rests!

Great quality for the price
Excellent made-in-germany footrest that I use when sitting in my office chair and playing guitar or bass (I generally don't use a strap when practicing). There are 6 configurations that they can adjust to, and the way it is engineered prevents any slippage on the angle adjuster thingy. The tiny rubber feet on the bottom prevent slippage on my hardwood floors, but they could have been a tad thicker IMO. The foot rest itself has a little bit of a grip to it, and feels decent. I would highly recommend this footrest!

Poggiapiede robusto.
Pratico e robusto. A differenza di altri modelli è interamente in metallo, anche le asole di ancoraggio che regolano l’altezza. Direi indistruttibile! K&M sempre top!
