I have really hard water and this stuff works amazing to clean my hair and any product. I have been using it for a few years now. I use it before I get my hair colored and my hair gal always comments on how nice my hair feels. Also it brings out my hair's natural waves.

These work so well and are good for travel with packet size. The one star loss I have is the smell from activating the crystals. It reminds me of the smell of pennys

Game changer! I have light blond/silver gray hair (60 yo). It had yellow /gold orange streaks. My hairdresser thought product buildup. I tried two different shampoos for this. This did not help. My friend suggested it’s hard water/chlorine. So tried this product. My hair has never looked or felt better that I can remember. The yellow gold is out. It feels soft and clean. (To note, it is not colored or chemically treated hair. ) I was afraid of drying out my hair. It did not at all.

If you have demi-permanant dye in your hair or toner, and did not use this product right before your salon visit, do not use this product until right before you go back to the salon. On the other hand, if you want to strip your color, do use this product. I went to the salon 8 days prior to using this. I did my research first. I'm actually a bit obsessive about researching so it prolongs purchasing things. I've wanted to use a clarifier for a while, since I learned about them, because I have very hard well water. This one was the winner for me. My hair is primarily bleached, with root growth of about 5 months that I get highlighted regularly to blend. Then it gets toned to different shades, depending on what I'm going for. This product, on one hand is amazing. My hair has never felt so clean. My natural hair that has grown in since fully bleaching my hair was shiny, smooth, and beautiful. What I wasn't expecting was for the rest of my hair to be completely stripped back to the bleach only. It went from a creamy chocolate (stunning blonde; I highly recommend trying that color toner) to a super light, summer blonde. After reaching out to malibu c on their Facebook page, they informed me that if I didn't use this treatment on my hair prior to getting it done, the color would sit on the mineral buildup and therefore come off with it. I greatly appreciate their feedback and learning this. I asked if they would consider putting this information in their directions or product description. They did not respond. So, while I don't leave long reviews typically, I'd like others who research products to be able to take into consideration there is a time to use Malibu C hardwater treatment, and it is not after going to the salon and paying for the hair you want, it is before. I will continue to use this product because it is amazing, albeit at the right time. I gave it 3 stars for the misleading information which caused me to wash $$$ down the drain but the treatment itself is 5 stars.

Absolutely amazing, works great for my hair. I have hard well water and after so many washes, even with soap, my hair will smell like the water. This softens it soo much I love it. Really easy to use and wish I could afford to use it after every wash 😂 I find that my hair won't tangle or frizz as much in the days freshly after using it. I have very curly hair and would need to wash my hair almost every day just for tangles. This can let me go 1-2 days longer without "needing" a shower for my hair.
