The adventures of a talking dog and his four human pals as they try to unravel the strange and haunted history of their hometown. The tone is comedic, but it will never lose the edge that our heroes are in some frightening situations. The stakes are real.

Yay for New Scooby Doo!
These are the new - from 2010 & 2011 episodes of the Scooby-Doo Mystery, Inc. TV series. This is the 2nd disc for the season. It has 4 episodes - which will get pretty dared pricey to buy the entire season at $9 - $11 per disc, however, it is comparable to buying the digital copies from I-Tunes.The episodes on this disc are:The Song of MysteryThe Legend of Alice MayIn Fear of The PhantomThe Grasp of The GnomeMy daughter is a HUGE Scooby-Doo fan (she is 4) and has loved the newer movies - Witches Ghost, Abracadabra Doo, Zombie Island, Camp Scare, etc.The TV Series has a few changes - and therefore some in-congruencies - the kids no longer live in Coolsville, they now live in Crystal Cove, and the character design has changed a bit, and there are new "romantic" dynamics between the kids, but it is still Classic Scooby-Doo style - and LOTS of fun!!!!Overall I am enjoying the new series (even as an original Scooby fan!) and am happy with the quality of the production and transfer to DVD

A Darker Twist on a Classic
My son LOVES Scooby! So I thought it would be nice to grab the latest incarnation of the old classic.This series is actually quite entertaining and sticks to a lot of the classic ideas of Scooby and the gang, but does so with a much darker twist. It is still somewhat suitable for smaller children, but isn't as much slap-stick humor as the previous versions.However, these "Volumes" only contain 4 episodes. I really wish they had broken it down into Part 1 with 12 episodes, much like they did Season 1 Part 2 with 14 episodes.

A new twist on the old favorite
Scooby Doo; Mystery Inc is an absolutely perfect twist on the original series. I love the way the way they've kept the characters the same and yet provided some interesting differences. And the mysteries are great, the background characters are hilarious. Plus the way that the adults try to handle the fact that their children are into solving the mysteries supporting the towns tourism revenue. A great series to introduce the new generation to Scooby Doo and a wonderful new look at a childhood favorite for fans of the original series. I just hope that they keep coming!!!

It is also a on going mystery...That why I ordered " Scoobydoo Mystery Incorporated Vol 3. The story of the missing teenagers is " Great! " Can't wait to continue my journey with " Scoobydoo and friends!😃

I love Scooby-Doo
5 star because Scooby-Doo is fun to watch. I like him because he sometimes doesn't want to monster bait and gets bribed with Scooby Snacks all the time. I loved to watch him when I was a kid and still do watch him. I recommend to all the kids who likes watching Scooby-Doo.

Fun show, poor value.
I bought this, and the other two volumes that complete the series, for my daughter, who just can't get enough of Scooby Doo.However, three discs, packaged and sold individually at an average of $10, brings me to a total of about $30 for a SHORT (12-episode) season.Add to that the fact that the plastic cases are beyond flimsy, and I'm not feeling like this was my best-value Amazon purchase.The compression quality is not exactly stellar either, which is inexcusable given how little material is on each disc.

Not new espisodes
Although the two episodes are good they are not new. Infact the dvd is a free one issued when Volume 1 was sold originally. At that time these episodes would have been new but they are now available on volume 2. Not worth the money as better value to buy the newer volumes.

What can I say? I am a 70's child and was brought up on Scooby Doo; you never out grow it. I bought this for my sister who was very disappointed that Scooby was no longer on TV on a Saturday morning!
