Rubies Star Wars Boba Fett Candy Bowl Holder

A lot of people posting are hammering it because it's foam, it's one sided, and the bowl is cheap. It's only $39. This isn't some hundred dollar statue. I don't know what people are expecting. I will admit I didn't realize he was only one-sided. The pictures are elusive regarding that. however, considering he sits on my bar with his back to the wall, I don't care about that. If anything it keeps him flush on the wall and isn't taking up too much bar space. The bowl. Yes it's thin plastic. The reason is weight. If it had been heavier, you wouldn't be able to put anything in the bowl and not have him fall over. I keep him full of candy and he hasn't gone over yet. I don't heap the candy in the bowl either. The paint job is great, he looks cool. The design is awesome. Considering this is from Rubies, who I DO NOT like because of their absolutely terrible costumes they produce and still charge high rates for pure junk, for me to put 5 stars on this is saying something. Heck, I might just buy all of them!

My daughter loved this to put her candy in at her halloween candy in at her dorm in college. However, she is such a Star Wars fan, she uses it still to hold her keys and a few light items she needs as she walks out the door. A friend of mine is having a Star War themed wedding and was thinking of using these as well to hold their favors. The bowl might hold a few pounds, it is a plastic bowl but it is good sized and the Stormtrooper is so cute.

My son likes all-things Boba Fett, and I am always on the look-out for gifts so themed for him. This candy dish is a real lark. As you can see, this Boba is a little stubby, but that's the better to stand stably while hands are rummaging in the dish for candy. A note, this is not a 360 degree image. It is injection molded and the back of it is a black cavity. But otherwise, this is a cute little guy and my son and his roommates get a kick out of it. Of course, I gave him candy to go with it, which may have enhanced their enjoyment! Happy Reader

I had seen this at New York Comic Con and didn't pick it up when I saw it, then regretted it because I couldn't find the booth selling it the next day. Jumped on Amazon and VOILA! There it was. The price was definitely better than what it would have been at NYCC too. The one thing I have to stress about this is, it's definitely not a toy. Whatever it's made out of could easily break if it's handled wrong. You don't want to put anything heavy in that plastic bowl because it WILL fall over. My boyfriend purchased the Freddy Kruger one and he's had it fall a few times if he overloads the bowl. The hands seem like they'd snap off if it fell just right too. Mine sits on a storage cabinet in the corner of my bedroom, holding candy, and he's held up very nicely. As long as you don't have little kids running around knocking it over or wanting to play with it, I think it'll do just fine. It's definitely a display quality item for year long use. Not just a Halloween novelty. Mine stays out all year. He's eerily adorable.

I didn't realize t was foam and the bowl was plastic. It's beautiful it really is. I mark it down for durability. The bowl is a thin flimsy insert like thing. It doesn't sit the way it looks in the picture. Maybe if you weigh it down with candy. Then the container itself is a thick by light weight foam type stuff. It sits up sturdy enough but the material is so light weight, Not ceramic or even a thick plastic. I'm not sure This thing will hold up to even on of our family moves. If it does I will go back and all a star next year. Appearance is great though. It looks like boba fett and has good detail. Paint does not appear cheap. It is so cute I really love Star Wars so I love this thing. I bought this for my boss! HE LOVED IT! The backside IS Hallow. We also bought Boba Fett for ourselves! We used him for Halloween but plan on using him all year round. You can get a new bowl, get festive, put candy, keys etc. We plan on using him and decorating him with some Christmas candy, a candy bowl, maybe some garland! They also have some wonderful Christmas-Star Wars Ideas. He will look great by the tree! An all around good buy and the people love it! We had a Halloween bash and the kids just went wild! Great gift idea and great for the home for any Star Wars lover!

The pictures on the website do NOT do this thing justice. Yoda is awesome!! The detail and paint application on this is outstanding. I've been a Star Wars collector for years and not even some of the high end products have this much detail. Yes it is foam, but a dense foam, feels very solid. The back is hollow which to me isn't a problem. Some people say that if you put tomuch candy in the bowl it wall fall over, well...that little hollow area in the back is perfect for a counter weight so tipping over isn't an issue. The only thing about this that is a negative is the bowl itself. It is a very light thin cheap plastic. For putting in light candy I don't see a problem, but something heavier, or just as a displace piece....you might want to consider finding a replacement bowl. The bowl is not something that I would take away from this item....it really is an awesome piece and well worth it. I like it so much, I've ordered the other three!!

Excessivement déçu. L'arrière de la statuette est ouvert et creux. Il s'agit donc d'une statuette à plaquer contre une surface sinon c'est très moche. Le bol est fait d'un plastique mou dégueulasse : on dirait l'emballage !!! Bref pour le prix ça ne le vaut pas du tout.

Achtung Styropor. Ansonsten ein Eyecatcher. Zum anschauen und verschenken super. Nicht standfest mit Schale, da der Untergrund zu klein ist. Befestigung notwendig. Für einen StarWars Fan ein must have..
