High quality flag - it is fabric, not cheap plastic that will tear over time. This flag is perfect if you frequently waterski, wakeboard, or wakesurf and have a bimini because it helps you to fly the flag above it and makes it visible to other boats. You can also get the flag up high where it can be seen without standing up or leaping from side to side in the boat to wave off inattentive drivers, which is hard when the boat is rocking, changing speeds, etc. I bought one of these years ago and found it helps to hand the rope to surfers so you don't splash or hit them in the face with the rope. After friends surfed with me, they all bought longer flags for the same reason. It is also great if you sometimes have a kid along as your "third" to hold the flag while you drive. Unfortunately, my kid dropped it in the drink and it sank. Without hesitation, I immediately ordered a new one (this one). Again, super great quality, it will last years if you don't lose it or drop it in the water. I'm thinking I might shove a pool noodle above the handle until my kids get older so it won't sink. Anyway, I'm not paid or anything - just an honest review. good product.

Easy to install and very sturdy. A little larger opening so flag not in tight but no issue. Lots of adapters for tower. Unfortunately ours must be a tweener size but was able to use halves of two different sizes and it worked out fine.

I purchased the Kwik Tek flag holder in an effort to secure a pirate flag onto my 19 foot SeaRay without having to pierce the hull or a bimini pole to mount a permanent flag holder bracket. In the past I have (unsuccessfully) used my stern light pole as a flag mast. I lost two flags into the Gulf of Mexico when the wind caught the flag and pulled it, and the entire stern light pole, from the stern light plug when I was motoring in windy and choppy conditions. I was looking for a way to mount a flag holder to the bimini without drilling into the poles of the bimini, and the Kwik Tek hold has done the trick! I was fearful that a long flag pole would break from the pressure of wind against a flag while under way. By mounting the Kwik Tek lower on the bimini and using a long PVC pipe as my flag pole, I was able to use a small bungee cord near the top of the bimini to give added stability to the entire mounting system. This two point anchoring kept the flag securely stationed even while motoring this past weekend in 15 mph winds. I bought a 4 foot length of standard ¾ inch PVC pipe from a hardware store, attaching the flag to the PVC using eyelets and light weight caribeaner clips. The ¾ inch PVC pipe was a little loose inside the Kwik Tek holder, so I wrapped the bottom 3 inches of the PVC pipe with foam insulation and it took up the small amount of movement at the base of the flag pole. When we finished on the boat this past weekend all we had to do was detach the bungee at the top of the pole, pull the pole out of the Kwik Tek, roll the flag around the PVC pole and store it on the boat…easy! Overall I am very happy with the Kwik Tek flag holder. The attachments were easy, it comes with self adhesive tape and two zip ties. My bimini poles are ½ inch diameter and the Kwik Tek conformed well around the bimini poles. I’m including a picture of the Kwik Tek attached to my boat, and a couple more to show the way I was able to use an extra bungee cord to help secure my flag to my boat. I hope this helps you make a decision if this mounting system will work for you too.

Second one I’ve had in 18 years. They hold up great. Fade a bit but still can be seen.

A must for safety especially if your kayak is like mine with camouflage surface finish.
