Merriway BH02006 (10 Pcs) Clear Plastic Suction Wire Hook 50 mm (2 Inch) - Pack of 10 Pieces

As I get older, I am finding that reading in the bath (a favorite pastime of mine) without glasses is getting more difficult. In the end I decided to get some magnifying glasses which solved the problem. Unfortunately, it also created a new one which was where do I put them when not in use?I decided that I needed a hook to hang them on but I didn't want to start messing about with drilling into ceramic tiles and I was worried that glue might be affected by the humid environment. The solution was a plastic suction hook.I pushed one onto a tile just over a month ago and it has stayed on ever since. Every so often, I give it a gentle 'tug' to see if there are any signs of it coming loose but it still well & truly stuck on. I don't know how much weight it can hold but I would think at least a wet flannel or 'soap on a rope'I haven't tried one on glass yet but when I do, I will update this review. However, given how well this 'sucker' (forgive the pun) sticks to tiles, I don't think glass will be a problem.Overall, given that the price includes Prime Delivery, I think these hooks are worth 5 stars.The question is, what to do with the other 9 that came in the pack?[UPDATE 18 Aug 2016. The Hook is still holding strong and has not come off since the first time I stuck to the tile at the end of June 2016. Also, so confident am I of its holding power, it's use has now been upgraded to hold my Back Scrubber which is considerably heavier than a pair of glasses. A second, smaller hook is now holding my glasses]

Used these (Merriway BH02006 Plastic Suction Wire Hook 50mm ) for my bird window feeders and so far no issues. Sometimes there are 6 starlings on the window feeder and it hasn't budged.

Fit for purpose - STRONG suction. Has been holding up my calendar for months now without popping off.

Absolute rubbish. Won't stick to internal doors or external doors. They look solid enough but they just don't stick.

is not working on metal part, keep falling.

Not bad but hooks are not very strong - using very light items only.
