Easy to use and safe to fly!
Ever go somewhere and find a bottle of wine/liquor that you just can't live without but you don't know how to safely get it home? I always carry a couple of these in my luggage for that purpose. The pump and bags are small enough that they easily fit in a bag and take less than a minute to inflate. Word of caution - not all bottles are equal in size and shape. If you have a bottle that is an odd shape, it is usually better to put the bottle in the bag and then try to inflate it. Otherwise, you'll never get the bottle in the bag. Great product though, and has come in handy for when I travel the country and run into rare/allocated spirits or wine that I need for my cellar back home! Between these and hard cased luggage, not even the rugged treatment of baggage handlers (sorry), can disturb bottles when encased in these sleeves!

Fantastic product
Yes, the opening is hard to find. Mainly because you're looking for a small opening. It's about a half inch tall on the side. The pump nozzle is way smaller than the opening. Pumping is a long and tedious chore. On my second one I used an air compressor. It only took a 1/4 second. As far as sealing is concerned, I believe that it's self sealing. I would give it 5 stars if they made the hole easier to find.

Used these to bring wine back on my latest travel!
I ordered these to bring a gift home from my last trip. The bags themselves work really well to hold air and keep your bottles safe/secure while traveling, however filling them with the enclosed pump turned out to be a bit of a chore. Finding the hole to insert the nozzle and making an airtight connection proved to be challenging. I feel these would work much better if you had an air compressor with blower/duster attachment to force air in more quickly to fill the channels. Either that, or a more rubber entrance so air can't escape as you try to pump it in. I would still purchase these again, but I would definitely use an air compressor and not the hand pump.

Great little sleeves but take forever to inflate if you are doing a lot at once.
We purchased another brand of these and they were so easy to use. We attached a small hose with an air compressor and blew them up in one second. I liked that these came with a small pump. Well its not easy to find the little hole to insert the pump, then it only blew up one side at a time. We were packing 70 bottles of wine for a cross country move and these would have taken forever. But if you are just in need of using one or two at a time they would be fine. They are very sturdy and protect the bottles.

Works but takes effort
As others have said, these are a little fiddly to use and may seem broken as the way they inflate is not really intuitive. You have to be delicate and patient with them. After blowing up a few of them, the idea of having to do 9 more was so daunting--it really takes a lot of effort to get them blown up. Thurs is why these are less than a dollar each and other solutions are more expensive. With that said, all 12 bottles survived intact so they work.

Great protection!
Protected a suitcase full of bottles traveling across the ocean and through 3 plane transfers. The only gripe is that the top does not seal so if something were to break it would leak but that is easily fixed with a piece of packing tape.

frustrating to inflate
I bought these for my wife's trip to napa valley. she said they were frustrating to use as the holes where you insert pump were sealed and she had to poke holes in them with a pair of tweezers to get the pump to fit. however, after the initial fight, all 10 bottles of wine did survive the Plane ride

This works well but it's a bit tricky
At first this did not meet my expectations, but then I figured out I wasn't filling the air pockets properly. You have to pump a lot to fill each of the eight air pockets surrounding the bottle. It takes a bit of patience and practice. Once I figured it out, though, I was pleased with the product.
