We purchased two of these for our boys as an easter gift. The remote controls are so easy to handle that our 4 years old who we thought we would have to help, picked up how to use in within minutes. They really truly do go on land and water. I do feel like their charge doesn't hold very long but that could be because our kids kept using them in the pool and gunning in ha ha ha! The seller is wonderful. One car had a problem where the wheels werent spinning. When I reached out to the seller, not only did they respond quickly, they also sent a replacement within 5-7 days of the message! Customer service like that is rare these days. Definitely worth purchasing.

Good: This was easy and fun for an 8 year old to operate. Colorful. Easy to drain after using in water. Bad: Even though it is easy for an adult to get into the battery compartment, a child might not be able to. The connector for recharging the battery is very difficult to remove even for an adult because. I still give it a five star because it is fun to use with kids and seems to be very waterproof. We have two and the remotes pair with the unit when turning the unit and remote on. At first we though we had a problem because one remote operated both units. When we turned the second unit off and on again and turned the second remote on, then each controller only operated one car each.

this is a great car and goes anywhere. The only reason we gave it four stars is because to charge it you have to use a screwdriver to remove a plate to access the charging port: kind of a bother. Otherwise, it's fantastic. Also: advertised as a great gift for 'boys' but we got this for our 8 year old GIRL and she LOVES it!!! :)

This item was advertised as waterproof, but after the kids used it in some water, the battery pack got corroded and neither of the cars (we got 2) works anymore. Before that, they were working well and the kids enjoyed them. However, the company was responsive to my issue and they are sending replacements. I will see how these work out.

The machine itself is of good quality and works well. The big downside is there is no external way to charge the battery. The battery compartment must be opened and the battery disconnected, which requires removal of a tiny screw using a supplied but easy to lose screwdriver, the screw is captive. The design is probably necessitated by the rough country and water it is designed to be operated in but the time and inconvenience of recharging will curtail the fun factor, especially for a young user. Disappointed

My son has played with this for about a month and hasnt broken it yet. The only issue I find is having to unscrew the battery to be able to charge it. Fun to play with, goes over every terrain we have tried so far.

This car looked amazing, it was a gift for my 5 years old son, he loved it, he was able to play with it only five days, on the fifth day we put in inside a pool, I checked that the batteries cabinet was well closed before put it in the water, after 4 minutes session in the water, we put it out, spout the water from it, and the next time we tried to turn it on, it didn't. I thought the batteries run out, but after charging it all night long, We tried to turn it on again, but it didn't turn on... checking the batteries I saw that they got wet and ruined the unit. I can't believe how easy I lost my money.

Edit: contacted the company and they were very quick and generous with their response. They have assured me a replacement is in the mail!! Eagerly awaiting the replacement! This would have been very cool and my 12 year old son was so excited when he opened it for his birthday. He used it only 2 times on dry land and then it quit working for no apparent reason. He is very gentle with his toys. The wheels on one side have completely stopped turning. The window for return is past and he cannot find the original box...i think it got thrown away with all the birthday trash. So basically, this was money down the drain and I have a super disappointed kid.
