A monster of functionality and efficiency! Definitely a keeper for sure!!
I am massively impressed with this product!Well built, very sturdy and extremely rugged. The motor housing is of high grade steel and powder coated. It has a magnetic trip switch at the plug, and the 12” hose is heavy duty and extremely durable. This fan is indeed a workhorse for the construction jobsite. The air displacement is so strong it sucked the seal from the “p” trap. So far I’ve used it to create a negative pressure in a fairly large size room where I’m chopping and sanding concrete. As some of you would know concrete dust gets everywhere. This machine works like a charm. It keeps the rest of the house completely dust free. This is a great product, which I highly endorse giving it a rare five star rating. You won’t be disappointed in this purchase.

Better than I expected
Way better suction than I expected and better built. The suction tube (12") is very thick material. Extends and folds back flat easily. I am using it to suck out welding , paint and sanding fumes/dust. This thing works great! I set the fan on low (2 speeds high/low) for the rag demonstration. I held a shop rag 12 inches from the opening and it extended out as shown in the photo. BUY BUY BUY!

No dust on drywall project.
Used it to sand drywall in a bathroom and also to get rid of fumes when I was using adhesive remover (really nasty stuff) on the floor. Worked great. I had a plastic sheeting over the door ancored at the top and one side. It created a negative pressure without sucking the entire sheet into the room. I cut a hole in a board to put in the window. It has a metal hook about 3" before the end so this worked without being problem. No dust in my house, wife was happy. It is as loud as a 20" box fan set on high. I only used it on the low setting. I bought this over the 12" version because I didn't want to suck all the air conditioning out of my house.I wish I had gotten this sooner.

Moves a Lot of Air
Produces great draw of air from flex duct when used to exhaust weld fumes. Fan is pretty loud when standing close to motor, but not bad at a slight distance.UPDATE - December 2023:The fan still works great and I added a support arm to position the hose over my welding table. The fan unit is mounted in a separate (ventilated) storage room and controlled via a receptacle on a switch near the welding table. For bracket info, search Amazon for "Selens Wall Mount Boom Arm with Triangle Base, Max Length 51inches/130cm Adjustable Camera Mount Up to 4.26ft for Photography Studio Video Strobe Flash, Ring Light, Softbox, Umbrella Reflector etc."

This fan is great. Fast shipping
This fan is great. Fast shipping, great price, just as listed. Very heavy duty construction. I really put it to the test, ran this fan for 12 days non stop during remodeling my basement, clearing out concrete dust, and while grinding glue from the floor. The fans motor barely got warm. One note, this thing is Loud, I mean a small jet taking off loud. I didn't really mind the sound since I couldn't hear the fan over the jack hammers, and grinders anyway. I then ran it for another 2 weeks non stop drying out a wet crawl space after I discovered I had a water leak needing repair after heavy raining. I don't recommend running it like I did, but it can take it with no problem.

Powerful but loud
I bought this fan to blow the cold air from my basement into the first floor. I cut a hole into the back wall of the pantry and just stuck the big fan hose right into it. Works great. It is loud but having it in the basement makes that a moot point. Since I have to go into the basement to turn it ON/OFF, I'm now looking to add a switch or, even better, a thermostat to make it more convenient. I wish I they offered a thermostat as an option.

I am this Fan's biggest Fan. - It sucks and blows in a good way.
Whenever I see a product priced at a fraction of a competing product it is a red flag for me. In the case of this particular product I could not be happier. Both price and performance have exceeded my expectations. The hose a lone for a competing product was over $200. Air flow is powerful and hose is durable. This item is bigger than it looks in the photos but you will love it when you see what it can do.

Stopped working after 5 months of minimal use
I bought this for a home spray booth for guitar finishing with lacquer. It worked ok on the few times I used it until last week. Now after 3-4 mins of use the grinding noise from the bearings starts and in an other minute, it shuts off.
