It fits! I have the model KitchenAid Professional Plus 5 KV25
For anyone who has KitchenAid Professional Plus 5 KV25, this will fit. You can buy it with relief.I was contemplating which one to buy. Even if they claim it will fit, somtimes description doesnt match with the actual product. This one actually matched! It fits perfectly. I can bake two batches at once.

A good extra mixing bowl.
This is a little smaller than the bowl that came with the mixer, but fits my Kitchen Aid perfectly. (Mine doesn’t tilt) Great so I don’t have to empty my primary bowl right away. Not quite as nice as the one you get with the mixer, and It’s a bit pricey, but worth the money.

5qt convenience.
For owners of the 7 or 8qt Kitchenaid mixers this 5qt option is easier to use for mixing smaller quantities. I use it more frequently than my 8qt because it is easier to add ingredients to, carry, pour and wash. Both have the same high build quality and usefulness but the 5qt is not as tall so It's not as shrouded by the head of the mixer. This means you have more visibility of the mix which helps you more easily decide when the mixing is done which is important for bread doughs and other foods. This can help keep your stress at a more reasonable level as you try to accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously. Luckily the 8qt is always available for big jobs if you need it. I recommend the 5qt for anyone owning the largest Kitchenaid mixers.

Solid easy to use and clean bowl
I have the 7 quart Kitchenaid mixer, but don't always need the size of the 7 quart bowl. This 5 quart bowl fits and works perfectly on this machine. It allows easier working with ingredients as the top of the bowl is lower on the mixer than the 7 qt bowl. Very sturdy and easy to clean having the lip on the top of the bowl instead of the rolled edge which can trap liquids and stuff. The handle design allows stacking of bowls as well.

Fits perfectly
I bought this for an alternative to the 8 quart bowl that came with my professional KitchenAid stand mixer. It fits perfectly and is a great option for when I'm doing smaller batches.

Just what I needed
Love my 8qt kitchenaid but it’s a pain when making small batches; this solves that problem. Attaches perfectly to the 8qt and don’t need different attachments, even worked good with the dough hook. Only complaint would be that since the bowl is now shallow and angled edges a bit more flour escapes the bowl than before, but not enough to deter me from using it again.

Defective, No company response, appears Chefs Choice sells KitchenAid seconds
The rim around the bowl was razor sharp. I called the seller Chefs Deal twice . The first time I got someone in the call center who did not understand what I was asking. I asked to be directed to customer service and he replied they were busy but would call me back. No response. The second call was the same. I then called KitchenAid just to make sure this was not indicative of their bowl. Their customer service replied that it truly was a defective item. So I sent the bowl back to Amazon and did receive my refund. It appears Chefs Deal sells KitchenAid seconds. I then ordered directly from KitchenAid.

It’s Kitchenaid so it’s good…
I just really don’t like the handle…but what’s nice is this handle allows two bowls to be stacked together.
