MAGMA Products 10-467, Radiant Plate Assembly, A10-215 Marine Kettle Gas Grill

Works super good!

This fits our West Marine (Magma) grill that we bought in 2007. This will be the third one, as it takes a beating from the burner directly underneath it. Not a big deal, but the three support legs on this new one are a bit longer than the previous two. I just bent them all a little flatter and it fits well. Just to be clear, the first two I had to bend them a little also, just not as much as this one. You could probably grind them down if needed.

Perfect replacement part for the A10-215 PARTY sized magma kettle; not the regular (smaller) sized one. All the reviews saying you need to bend it, it didn’t fit, etc, are just buying the wrong part. If you have a regular kettle grill, buy 10-466!

To fit this in the small Magma kettle gas grill, you will need to bend or cut the three legs to fit, or the grill won't fit because the center doodad sticks too high. Also this seems to be very lightweight and it is one piece so you can't remove the central cone. However it is pretty cheap and yeah it does work great. I couldn't find my angle grinder and I didn't feel like hacksawing so I just bent the legs with channel locks and it works fine. Using a Magma grill without something to cover the burner and protect it from drippings will destroy it in less than 15 years of use. This or similar will protect the burner and also the meat drippings flash instantly when they hit the hot steel, creating smoke that concentrates the flavor of your steak or whatever.Honestly I should have made something here, but not everybody can make stuff like I can. The price was okay, way better than at Worst Marne. If you have a Magma round grill and nothing inside but the burner, get one of these. You will be glad you did. Just don't expect it to fit without doing your part.

Radiant Plate has different design from original and each of three legs need to be cutting out for approx 1/2 inches. In additional to top dollars paid for this part I have to spend an hour to adjust it!DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RADIANT PLATE ASSEMBLY

We've had our Magma kettle for about a year. The Radiant plate broke into pieces. We ordered this one and cooked up some steaks. We had no idea that THIS is how the radiant should cook. I guess our original was defective outta the box.

was hoping for a 2 piece but didnt use, bottom rusted out of grill and had to buy new

Like most other reviews here. It doesn't fit. I bent the risers almost in half to get it to sit low enough to get the grill to sit right.
