Feels good to take. Tastes bad

Love the product, the label is misleading! I have bought this twice now, the flavor is lime not grape and there are only 50 servings not 75. The flavor isn't a big deal to me but the serving count is a Huge differenceIt doesnt have an offensive taste, dont listen to the other reviews

This stuff is great. I'm vegan and this provides me with epa and dha omega 3's. Most affordable source I know of. I take it most days, some days I'll skip, I don't see it as dire. The taste has inproved- they changed the flavor from lime to cherry. Good choice.It has helped reduce acedemic stress.. reduce mental fatigue. My diet is already well thought out so this doesn't like put me in the highest highs....But it does make a difference. I know it is good for me and will gladly post any further observances.Update 2/13/18I am baffled by the poor reviews on this product. Having taken this for three years now,1. The flavor has improved2. Quality of nutrition is top notch. I clearly notice if I need it, or I notice when this fulfills a deficiency.3. It seems to be the best "bang for buck"Why all the harsh vibes with these reviews? flavor? Did you know many indigenous cultures would rot (ferment) fish along the shore lines to get there healthy fat nutrition? And now most fish and their fats are contaminated with pollutants like plastics and heavy metals. Is this algae supplement really that bad?

Ugh ... For me, after blending this into my fruit smoothie, my smoothie tasted like fish and I don't like fish. I couldn't drink the smoothie and threw it and this item out.

I like the idea of this but the actual taste makes it very difficult for me to get down, let alone my kids. Even when I tried to sneak it in their orange juice it was so bad they wouldn't drink their juice. Very disappointed because this stuff was not cheap.

My teenage daughter took an omega 3 test and she was severely deficient in omega 3s. Her nutritionionist wanted her to take high dose fish epa but I asked to give a vegan supplements a try since we’re vegans. She wanted her to get 1000 mg EPA per day, which would translate to too many pills, so I looked for liquids instead. Since we’re also adhering to MM protocol, Deva Vegan was out of the question as it contains citric acid (which is made from black mold).I compared a couple other ones as following and Omega Zen turned out to be the most cost effective so we went with that:Omega-Zen + EPA Liquid $ 29 / 60 ml150 * 50 = 7,500 mg EPA = 7,5 g EPA per bottle1 gram / day dose monthly cost$ 128Dr Fuhrman DHA + EPA Purity Liquid $ 55 / 45 ml88 * 60 = 5,280 mg EPA = 5,2 g EPA per bottle1 gram / day dose monthly cost$ 340Viridian Vegan EPA & DHA $ 35 / 30 ml(In spite of contacting seller about epa content I didn’t get that info - but it’s still very high price per ml!)3 bottles later she has cut her deficiency in half! I’ll by 3 more bottles and see if we can get to where she needs to be!

Right now, I am vegan. I have used vegan sources of omega 3s in the past and they've tasted absolutely awful. This one does not taste good but it is much more mild than the ones that existed 5 years ago and the taste goes away really fast. Also, the price is reasonable. I don't think one serving is adequate and I usually have about 3 serving a day.

I'm giving it five stars because I shouldn‘t rate it based on the company; I should just rate the product itself. Part of me wants to give it only 3 stars, though, for the following reason.I don't buy from O-mega-zen anymore because their capsule-based DHA has palmitate and glycerin in it - both of which are derived from Palm Oil. Palm Oil is the least vegan thing in the world. Poor orangutans. I don't care where in the world you claim to get it because it never turns out to be sustainable - ever. Palm Oil is a terrible product/ingredient. That other other product also has carrageenan in it. I mean, c'mon. The company must be either ignorant or evil. Take the Palm Oil out of your capsule-DHA please - I beg you. Until then, I'll use one of the other vegan, liquid-based DHA companies on Amazon.com. If you can't trust a company to do their homework, you can't trust them on anything - especially when it comes to whether they are telling the truth about their ingredients at all, about toxins, metals, etc potentially in them. This company has shown itself to be untrustworthy by saying words like "vegan" and "vegetarian" then turning around and putting palmitate and glycerin in their other products, of all things. It is sleazy.
