Bought for my teenage son. Fits over braces well. Sturdy material and complete with case. Easy to clean.

Great product. Read instructions thoroughly to get a safe fit. Worked really well whilst my son had his braces. A keen rugby player who needed a safe gum shield and he absolutely loved this product saying it was comfortable and didn't feel any different to a standard gumshield

This over-the-braces gum shield was a bit tricky to mould properly — but to be fair, I find that’s the case with most mouth guards. Even after following the instructions carefully, it still didn’t feel quite right or as comfortable as I’d hoped. That said, it did the job for a day of sparring at kickboxing, which is what I needed it for. The big plus is that it didn’t damage or react with my braces, so no worries there — and that gave me some peace of mind. Not perfect, but fine for short-term use or occasional sparring.

Excellent product, easy to use and protects the braves well

Really bad. Not one size fits all, too big for my daughter's mouth, even though Orthodontist said she was size medium. The mouthgard curled up and folded over on itself and did not fit over braces and just hurt her teeth.

Got this for my son, works well. But, we have found out since that you cannot have a red mouthguard in competition, at least not in Ireland. Apparently it makes it more difficult for referees to spot any bleeding

Perfect for someone with braces

Easy to mould. Even for a kid!

Works great for me, snaps right on the brackets, I use it for wrestling and BJJ, the design is nice and the case it comes in is nice and sturdy, worth the money if you are looking for a mouthguard if you currently have braces.

I wasn’t going to leave a review, just stars, but felt I should after reading some negative reviews. This mouthguard is great! I bought it for my son (14) for karate. He says it’s very comfortable and works great. His braces fit with the guard perfectly and I even brought them to his orthodontist who approved them. He was able to mold them fine with minimal supervision. I will definitely order these again should my younger son need them

The Safejaws mouth guard has been perfect for my wrestler with braces! It offers great protection and fits comfortably, which isn’t always easy to find with orthodontics. I especially love that we can easily remold it as their teeth move—such a huge advantage during treatment. One tip: cut it to size before molding for the best fit. Highly recommend for athletes with braces!
