Directions for assembly...
Excellent product for storing sports equipment, canned goods, paper products, files. When you assemble, have a tape measure and a helper. Here are some tips: 1/ The shelf trim edge always goes towards the floor. 2/ put the 1st shelf which is the bottom one over its 4 vertical legs . figure out where you want the shelf in relation to the floor . To support the shelf, 2 plastic brackets clip over each vertical pole. these brackets have direction arrows pointing ‘up.’ Both halves clip together properly over the pole only if both arrows are pointing up. ( If you misassemble the 2 pieces without both arrows up, the shelf wont fit . you will need a screwdriver to pry them apart.) 3/ Once the 2 pieces clip together properly over each of the poles and are positioned in relation to the floor so the shelf is not slanted, the shelf can be pressed down over to fit over the upper part of the clips . (The shelf only goes partway onto the clips, (not the whole way over them and it stays firmly in place. ) 4/ now : install the next shelves: Use a tape measure to measure where to put the next sets of 2 clips onto each of 4 poles to support the next shelf , being careful that the next sets of clips are each the same vertical distance from those supporting the previous shelf. (Otherwise the shelf will be slanted. ) doing one shelf at a time it will take about 15 minutes to assemble this product properly. (If you dont read my directions, it may take a lot longer ——because i initially did just about everything wrong and had to take the whole thing apart ...)

Great shelving unit
I needed a shelving unit to go inside my closet that would fit under the existing closet shelf. I really wanted one that had five shelves, but they were all 72" tall, this was the only unit I could find that was close to 60" tall, and the price was right. I had a smaller unit made by another company that was the same width and depth, and was able to add two more shelves to this unit, so now I have a 6-shelf unit. I use it to store office supplies, including a couple of crates that I used for filing papers. The crates are the heaviest items I have, so a 200-lb limit vs 350-lbs didn't matter. I was able to put some shelves closer together for smaller items and have plenty of space for the larger items on the bottom.Because I've put together many of these types of shelves over the years, assembly was a snap. Literally. You just snap on the plastic supports at the level you want, then lower the shelves one at a time. Taking them apart to move to a new home is simple too.

Great product
Great product I purchased it for my son’s room. So he can put completed Legos and his TV on and just pick things up off the floor no real specific use. We’ve had it for a couple of years now and have rearrange the shells and moved with it and it is still intact. We have moved with it intact and once taking it all apart the product is still in great condition you would never know it’s been used You never know it was a couple of years old.

Real bang for your buck
I bought this shelf to put in my pantry 4 years ago and am still so happy with the purchase. On it I keep all my canned goods and as much weight as I put on it, never once has one of the shelves slipped down.

Sturdy and attractive
Let's start with the packaging. The box that the shelving unit comes in is very sturdy and thick. The pieces, except the shelves themselves, are all individually packaged and well protected. The shipping box however was made of much thinner cardboard. The protective padding (paper) inside of the box was only placed on one side of the shelving box so the other side of it was directly exposed to any potential damage if the shipping box was dropped. (Seems to be a pattern with items I've ordered from Amazon).Next the assembly. I've read in some reviews that the assembly instructions were somewhat lacking, and they are. The single page, one-sided sheet consists of an exploded view of the unit, a limited parts list and five zoom boxes to highlight the important steps. No written assembly instructions at all. Once you get the parts out though you realize that assembly isn't all that difficult. Just know that the plastic collars that go over the chrome support legs have a raised lip on the inside that fits into the seams on the legs. Make sure they are in the proper direction according to the up-arrow. Clip the two-piece collars on at the height you want the shelf at and then slide the shelf over them with the shelf lip towards the bottom. Deceptively simple. Once you get the bottom shelf in place, the legs are set. Thread the upper support leg onto the lower one and the final three shelves go on quickly. Total assembly time was about twenty minutes.Design. This item was thoughtfully designed. The parts are a mixture of metal and plastic and at first may appear somewhat flimsy. They are anything but. The legs and shelves are constructed of sufficiently thick materials. The plastic collars lock into place on the legs and a gentle push secures the shelves over the collars. There is very little side-to-side flexing so it is very stable. There are adjustable feet on the bottom of each leg so that you can level off the unit as well. It almost appears to belong in a commercial setting such as a restaurant but looks just fine at home too. Finally the use. These shelves are extremely sturdy and hold a good amount of weight. We are using the unit in a small closet and mostly placed bagged (rice, flour, sugar, etc) and canned food on it along with bottled juices and some small electronics items. No problems whatsoever. No bending visible to the shelves. It can clearly handle more weight than we are putting on it.This unit has worked out so well that I am going to order another one.The only drawback is the price. This unit should realistically be no more than about $50. Other than that, I am highly satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it.

Laundry Storage Lifesaver!!!
A little annoyed the shelf is now $20 less a month later, but that’s Amazon and not the product.I’m blind and assembly took about 20 minutes. A word of advice, a mallet is your best friend, with this product anyway. A good smack will keep shelf from popping off the inner plastic guide. Once assembled, unit is sturdy and solid.Using for storage of overstock of toilet paper, paper towels, and multiple detergent boxes. Bleach bottles, vinegar bottles in multiples aren’t light, neither are 6 91 ounce boxes of powder detergent. Shelves are not bowing, nor do they show signs of stress. With that said, consider what your storing and keep realistic expectations.
