An outstanding collection of limericks
Ciardi and Asimov are favored writers.

Bawdy
Time to start buying up these books, before the sci-fi world memory-holes Asimov. The bantering Foreword exchanges between Asimov and John Ciardinare priceless.

A Very Fine Collection
I laughed often reading these limericks and was even inspired to write a few of my own. Asimov was a very lusty guy and I liked his effort more than Ciardi. This book was a competition between these two friends and colleagues and the premiss is very enjoyable, especially the introduction.

Ciardi better than Assimov
It was supposedly a duel by two men who did not care for one another. But you could tell there was a friendship between them. It's better than Assimov's Lecherous Limericks and I did enjoy a few of the limericks. Maybe I'm just not a limerick fan.

Weak examples
Disappointed in the limericks, too tame, and clearly lacked thecreativity I was looking for in limericksby these two literary giants.

A book which, like its subject, is too short
As with much of Asimov's shorter work,I enjoyed this partly because it is very punny.John Ciardi appears to be a good match for Asimov wit,and the reader should enjoy the book as did both the authors.

Disapppointing
I found it disappointing. Somehow, it doesn't suit my tastes.
