My 16 year old male cat loves them. They’re soft and chewy for him, the first time I gave him some it was around 2pm. Ever since that day, whenever it’s around 2pm my cat begins “reminding” me it is his treat time. He comes to find me, paws at me and meows loudly at me until I give him a couple. Because he’s older and started losing weight I began giving him canned wet food along with his dry kibble. The wet food was a bit too rich for him and caused a lot of loose stool. The loose stool caused his anal glands to fill up, and is a remotely new set of issues. I got these hairball control treats for the extra fiber to firm up his stools. It’s only been a few days, so far so good. I’m happy he loves them as much as he does.

These are as hard as rocks. Unbreakable. I have bought before and initially they were soft enough, but I didn't use them up quickly enough and, even though package was resealed, the "chews" were soon unchewable. For a while I was able to break them in half for my cats, one of whom chews treats while the other swallows them whole. After another week or so, the half was also unchewable. The cat that swallows treats whole didn't care, but the other wouldn't touch them. The "chews" in this package, however, are too hard even to open the pkg. I should be able to squeeze a one of the chews but they are like little stones. I suppose a hammer could pulverize them and they could be added to their regular food. I'll let the animal shelter decide how (or if) they want to use them.

First I counted the number of treats in my bag; it contained 72 treats. I have two kittens and I give them 2-3 treats every 2 days. They work. I have not have kitty vomit since using them. One is medium and the other short haired. My comparison to the other products found these to not only be less expensive to dosage instructions but also contain the ingredients to be effective.

These are not soft. I cut them up and mixed with wet food and he ate it. Didn't like them on their own.

I'm glad I got this item for my cat's health because her fur is very thick and I'm hoping it will prevent her having her little throw-ups sessions. She usually likes to cover it up with plastic bags underneath the bed and it's an unpleasant surprise so I'm hoping this will prevent this in the future! They smell like about what you expect a cat treat to smell like very chickeny and my cat really loves them and has asked for them a couple times. The correct dose is five treats for two or three times per week according to the package and this might help you if you're trying to train your cat for other things. So hey! They are very easy to give to your cat and I'm hoping the quality is high so that it works. I'll come back if it doesn't but let's just say my cat hasn't had a hairball this week. Not sure if she was due for one but so far it looks like the functionality of these hairball treat Plus by Hartz work well! So far so good and keeping my paws crossed! LOL

only 1 of my cats would eat them

A mi gata le encantó pero luego batallé para q las comiera. Lo que huce, fue cortar los corazones con unas tijeras y se las revuelvo en las croquetas y aunado con el plato para comer despacio, disminuyó muchísimo el vomito o regurgitación. Excelente producto

Probablemente tienen beneficios para la salud de los gatitos, pero a mi gatita no le gustaron para nada por lo que tengo que dárselos dentro de una pill pocket. Siento que la textura es como un trozo de carne muy seco y grande, para ser un premio, que les cuesta trabajo tragar.

I received this product, the bag wasn't worth $20.00, it shoud have been $4.00. My cat hates these. You can't even return this product. Please don't buy these, you will be very disappointed.
