Great little portable field guide.
I am so glad this update is out. The book is very portable and chock full of info, the introduction is a must read for the naturalist. The taxonomic updates are nice to see and I very much appreciate the well researched range maps and how those are presented. Would recommend this to anyone interested in the topic.

good field guide
It is a good field guide for Texas Amphibians and presents the information in a well organized manner. It does a good job covering the newer species described in Texas in the last few decades, particularly the subterranean salamanders. The photos are a bit small for identification purposes, but there are good keys for those familiar with using them.
