Very happy
I was very happy with this purchase. My stock rear speakers in my 2001 Saab 93 had to be replaced due to the foam having deteriorated from UV exposure. I searched and read many reviews on numerous brands and decided on these. I also figured I should be able to get something decent for under $100.These speakers are 4 ohm speaker so take note, something which I did not snap to until they were delivered, but my stereo does deliver 80 watts so that was more than enough power to drive them I ending up adjusting the fade on the front and rear split to give them alittle more power.The speakers sound rich, I listen to rock, classical, opera and Broadway, and they have good dynamic range. The bass is solid and natural sounding. Being 4 ohm they do get loud quick but as stated they are rated for 400 watts peak power and they do need 60 watts RMS to drive them so make sure you check that before ordering a pair.I will more than likely update my front speakers to this Alpine's line as well.Installations was a breeze too

Bang for your bucks!!!!!
These speakers are awesome. Powerful bass, clear mids and highs. I could not be more pleased with this purchase. I did quite a bit of research before buying them and chose them over silmilarly priced sets from Rockford Fosgate, JBL and JL Audio. (I am a Rockford Foagate fan). These are a can't miss for really good speakers at reasonable price. I have them paired with an 800W pioneer digital amp. They rock!!!Update 4/7/2017 One of the speakers hisses and cracks due physical damage. Replaced with different brand. My music is louder and clearer with the new set. However, they are lacking on the bass quality. Seriously considering repurchasing this set.
