Installed into a 2004 Sable with the Mach entertainment system.Holy what a bear to install, deleting the factory stereo , cd changer, brain in the trunk was a large undertaking.without the metra kit it would have required rewiring half the the car.Still involved pulling a huge cable snake thru from trunk to the dash, luckily there were factory wire channels there to feed it thru.Cons: only the instructions; how to handle the HVAC controls and sensors were kinda lacking, and in regards to the brain in the trunk it simply states "route wire to dash" without any indication its a 1" diameter bundle of wiring, and you WILL need to remove substantial portions of the interior to route it in the factory wiring troughs(the only option given the size of said cable snake).All said, a 100% must for anyone upgrading their taurus or sable from the factory premium sound/climate

200 dollars on junk that don't line up and the wires are garbage should of just bought a 10 dollar toggle switch

Bought it and installed it myself in my 2002 Mercury sable Ls I got it back in 2017 and haven’t had any problems pretty easy if you know how to follow directions

I really did not enjoy having to pay so much for this but it was the only way I could put an aftermarket stereo in my 01 Sable. It fits in easily and looks pretty good. The only thing they messed up on with making it is there is nowhere to attach the hose which takes in air from the cabin to check the temp for the auto air control. Not a big deal... I don't even use that feature. All you have to do is stick the hose back behind everything.
