Disappointed
After installing my library of only 15 books, this device does not have enough storage for me to install Facebook.

THIS WILL FIX IT!
At first I was having the same troubles as everyone else but after much research I found the FIX solution and been working great since. The first post on this page has the directions from the factory on how to wipe clean/reset to default the settings and that works BUT you must FIRST buy at least a 16GB (up to 64GB) microSDHC Memory Card and insert it into the TF CARD slot on side of tablet. Then do the reset and read this:Don't despair. If the reset with a paperclip in the hole doesn't work try all the reset options versions with the power/volume button above. If you don't have bad hardware such as faulty RAM it should reset to factory specs. But, now here comes the rub. The darned thing just doesn't have enough room partitioned on the internal memory chip for all the app upgrades that automatically upload and install if you are connected to wi=fi. That's the installing 1 of 39 nonsense. So, don't be anywhere near wi-fi when you first start it up. Then go to settings and turn OFF the wi-fi.Then while in settings click on *apps* and click on them one at a time and uninstall or disable (depending on the options given) at least six apps that you don't think you'll ever want or use. This will free up room for the first time you connect to wi-fi so the updates will have enough room to install. But, before you do this purchase a microSD card of 8 or 16 gigabytes and put it into the SD card slot in the back top. Do this before booting up. Then boot it up which will allow the device to *mount* the microSD card. Don't ever remover the microSD card without first *unmounting* it in the *Settings* app. This will give you the option of moving some of the apps to this external SD card memory and will free up even more room to upgrade and install new apps to the very limited internal app partition memory. My internal app memory only has about 200 megabytes of the about 800 megabytes alloted left for installing new apps. So don't get carried away with installing new apps or you will quickly fill up the limited internal app memory and it will crash or get stuck again. My Nobis 9 has been working great for months and it's never got stuck or crashed and I think it's because I made sure from the very beginning that the internal app partition memory never got full.I've got tons of music, movies and pictures on the external microSD card and it plays and shows them really great. I've got about ten apps from the app store moved to the external microSD card, too and they all work great. Some you can move but some you can't. So you always have to be wary of the limited app partition internal memory available. It will be shown on the *settings* *storage* display.***UPDATE 2/5/16***: I'm still having the same issues with new apps not downloading to the external card so I have given up on this tablet and just chalked it up as a loss and learning experience. I did some research and purchased a used Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 (7) on ebay for $70 and couldn't be happier! I didn't need the newest, most update tablet, I only use it to occasionally surf, control Netflix and other stuff so this works fine for me. This model launched 7/13 and comes in 3 sizes 7, 8 and 10 inch, do the research and if your needs are the same as mine, pick one up.

do not buy it
Last December 2nd 2013 I bought a Nobis Tablet 9" on Walmart Online store. Was working good but from 2 weeks ago (07/28/14) when I turn on the tablet, It try starting up and them stuck in "GO Screen" and that is it. I tried reset with the hole in the back several time but the problem still, and I cannot use anymore my tablet. I wrote to [email protected] and they answered was: "I’m sorry , but we do not issue refunds unless the tablet was purchased directly from us, within the last 21 days. You will need to contact the company you directly purchased it from for a refund". And Walmart said: They just allows the return under 90 days. The point is in Nobis Web site they recorder that issue in FAQ section, means they know this problem is coming or happens in the tablets, can be 1 month or more when the guaranty expire. This is the troubleshoot from the web site:Please follow the instructions for a factory reset; please advise if the problem persists, so we can issue you a return authorization number.NB09Tablet must be off• Press and hold the Power button and the Volume (-) button together until “Nobis” appears.• As soon as Nobis is displayed release both buttons.• Wait for 15 seconds for the recovery menu to appear.• Use the Volume Down (-) to highlight Wipe Data/ Factory Reset. Then press the Power button to select it.• Another menu should appear. Use the Volume Down (-) to highlight Yes-- Delete All User Data. Select using the Power Button.• Wait for the tablet to finish wiping/resetting/formatting user data.• Once finished a menu will appear again, press Power Button once the option "reboot system now" becomes available.• It should shut off and restart again (will be stuck on go), this takes about 7-10 minutes to restart. Now I wasted my money and need a new Tablet, It's is no fair.If you want to confirm my comments go to google and search "Nobis tablet issues"

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!
I bought one of these for my wife back in April 2014, it's now July 2014, and it is DEAD. I tried all of the recommended restore procedures, but nothing worked. The technical support for NOBIS is non-existent. I googled this for about 3 weeks, and found absolutely nothing that would help me get it up and running again. As for the Android platform, I think its one of the worst operating systems in the world. And another thing, there are so many of these "ANDROID" tablets on the market, each one of them has to have a "special" rom image to restore from the external sdcard. When it did work, the minimal diskspace prevented installation beyond 1 gigabyte. I thought of "rooting" it, but again no support on how to do that. Which leads me to the obvious, why buy something that is destined to die with no chance of revival. My opinion, don't buy any "android" tablet. get something that has support, like Microsoft, or even apple. Why didn't linix develop an operating system for tablets? I could go on, but this is more than I really wanted to say about the whole thing.
