First, let me start off by saying that both puzzles are excellent and I'm very satisfied with both of them! Second, let me just say that one of the things I can't stand is people who give negative reviews when they don't know what they're talking about, like the other person who gave these puzzles a one star review on the basis that "they are unstable". This person probably has no experience with twisty puzzles whatsoever, and yet they go around berating something that's top-of-the-line. Twisty puzzles have been my main hobby since early 2014, I've owned and solved many different types of puzzles (including difficult puzzles such as Vergo's Pentagram, the 4x4 Ghost Cube, the Sun Cube, the Curvy Copter III, etc.), and I can attest that these two puzzles are excellent in quality and stability given what they are. Qiyi is one of the top-of-the-line brands that produces some of the best twisty puzzles, and in my opinion (as well as the opinion of many other solvers), both of these puzzles are arguably the best of their kind - both the Dino Cube and the Ivy Cube. Not only that, they are also among the easiest twisty puzzles to solve. Yes, if you don't know how to properly hold them, then layers may inadvertently turn, especially with the Dino Cube, but that's just how the mechanisms of these puzzles work, and if you know what you're doing then you won't have any problem controlling them. Furthermore, both puzzles came quickly and nicely packaged. I'm very satisfied with them and highly recommend them both.

Quality: Both puzzles slide very comfortably with no popping. My kids can easily turn them and I'm not worried at all about them breaking.Texture: Surprisingly there's a difference between the puzzles. The Ivy cube has a smooth/polished texture while the dino cube has a very slightly ruffed up texture. Both feel find in the hands. It doesn't seem to have a functional difference; it's just something I noticed.Complexity: Both of these puzzles can probably be solved by kids on their own without assistance and a bit of time. Each only needs a single very simple algorithm for the last 3 pieces and you can probably accidentally figure it out with enough tinkering.

This is a good set of the smaller speed cubes. Each cube seems well made. Each cube spins easily and quickly. They are great for speed cubing. This is a great set for a beginner who loves cubes.

Two of the easiest twisting puzzles I would recommend to a beginner would be a pyraminx duo and the ivy cube. The ivy cube is basically just the cube version of a pyraminx duo. These puzzles are much much much easier than a 2x2, but are still thought provoking (but a kid CAN solve it). The Dino cube is A LOT harder and I'm pretty sure it's harder than a 2x2.

I really love these two puzzles. I collect cubes and decided to add these to my collection. They both run very, very smooth and have none of that dry turn feeling. I have no problems with them in any way. The ivy cube is especially great, since it’s so comfortable to hold and has a very nice feeling to it. They are also great to figure out intuitively since they are not too hard. With enough fiddling you should be able to put both of them together. Great cubes overall.

These puzzles are a fun introduction as they can be probably solved by total beginners even without any guidance, but they aren't so trivial as to be uninteresting. The product quality feels fairly good, although it's pretty difficult to turn the panels quickly. The plastic on the ivy cube feels worse than on the dino cube.

They are so smooth and easy to turn even though they are so cheap! Way worth it!

This cube moves very smoothly and quickly. It is perfect for when you are timing yourself!
