Fodor's Around Washington, D.C. with Kids (Travel Guide) Paperback – June 4, 2013

Book being used to plan a Washington DC trip. Fills the bill. Grateful😊

Though this is somewhat a home area, planning to take my7.5 year old granddaughter to see some attractions this summer. Also purchased Kid's Guide to Washington, DC (Kid's Guides Series) . In comparing the two, this one is printed in all blue where as the other is in multi color and more appealing/suited and presented to her age range. This one is fine for older kids or others just wanting a few snippets. Its also in alphabetic order. Will look for and purchase others in the kids guide series... but will keep this one anyway

i was really not quite in sync with the layout of the book or the type of information that it had.. we were dealing with a large number of children with a wide range of ages. Books telling me more in detail about specific sites would have been more help in planning this outing.

This book really came in handy while touring DC with 2 families, including 7 kids. Nice and compact, so you can fit it in your purse and pull it out for easy reference. The book is very well-organized, with key important info (location, hours, price, nearby eating options, etc) always located in the same spot for each attraction, so it's super easy to find if you looking for specific info. A must-have book for your DC trip with kids!

My son's family (three boys ages 6-12) said they benefitted greatly from this book, which I sent them before their big trip to Washington. The boys initiated comments about it, saying it had a lot of interesting stuff! My son is a school principal, and he liked it, too. I believe I can safely recommend it to others.

Just returned from Washington DC with grandkids. The kids referred to this book daily. Great guide. Recommended for adults as well.

trip coming up in april sure it will be useful. will know in advance what to see where to eat

At first I was disappointed by the size of the book (it's quite small) however, it's jam packed with excellent information that we will use for the basis of our upcoming DC trip with our young boys.
