Have a plan to uncoil this.
Used this for irrigation main line for home sprinkler system. It is extraordinarily difficult to find fittings and tools to work with PEX this size. But the info and supplies are out there. Just don't expect to find a hardware, plumbing, or irrigation store even in a large city to have them.I mostly uncoiled this right into the ditch, while standing on what I had uncoiled and putting soil over it to keep it from trying to curl. It is more flexible than PVC, but it isn't what I was thinking. It was an exhausting chore to do solo, and I'm not a small fellow.Be careful to relieve the tension from it being coiled, especially near connections. I found that boiling a kettle of water and pouring it on the section I was working helped. All that said, I'm very happy with the results and would use the same product again. The crimping tool you'll need only works on three sizes of PEX (1.25", 1.5", 2"") and is not cheap.I ended up using a lot of brass fittings adapting from the PEX to my sprinkler valves. PEX fitting on one end and threads on the other. The delivery fellow came with a semi-trailer while I was at work. He must have been a little scrawny because I got a phone call saying he couldn't unload it (we don't have a loading dock). I managed to convince him to leave it out by the road and fortunately none of the three rolls were damaged.
