Baby Jogger Belly Bar for City Mini 2 and City Mini GT2 Strollers Black

Happy to have this on my stroller! I have the baby jogger city mini gt and it works great. Granted, I didn't really want to spend an extra $50 for it and wish the stroller came with it. But overall, very happy with my purchase!

This belly bar has pros and cons, but overall I’m glad I bit the bullet and spent the very high price, to have it as an option to use with the Baby Jogger Citi Mini GT2. It clicks in very easily, and it was a pleasant surprise to see that there are two positions, higher and lower. Very handy for attaching a snack tray/drink holder or a Kindle or other toys by way of hooks and straps. With my granddaughter being almost 4, we can also sometimes skip using the harness and have her hold onto the belly bar instead, if it’s a very short stroll of a few yards. So for these uses, I keep it in my hatchback for when we are at a playground or shopping. I cannot keep it attached to the stroller because then the whole stroller becomes too big to place in the hatchback. Also, I’ve read other reviews not to pick the stroller up by this belly bar because you may be shocked when it suddenly falls off or even breaks and causes you to drop your expensive stroller in the parking lot. Fortunately, I did read that before trying it, or I might have! Also, FYI, if you have this stroller, there is a YouTube video by a repair person, warning not to pick the stroller up by the folding strap, because this puts wear and tear on the folding pulley and could cause damage to that function. To work around this, I have attached a large luggage strap looped through the frame of the stroller, just at the part where it folds, and I use this to carry the stroller after I fold it, such as if I need to bring it on a bus. For our upcoming Disney trip, I am thinking I will not bring this belly bar into the parks because if we have to fold up the stroller to get on a bus or tram, it makes the stroller quite tall, and just that much more cumbersome, since I don’t envision wanting to carry it in my tote bag either.

It’s a must for babys up to 6 months

Pros: my baby liked to hold on to it when riding, it keeps a blanket or covering tented over stroller, you can attach cup holder to it. Was able to use a different brand infant carrier with it. Cons: my 1 year old can kick it off very easily, so it doesn’t serve its purpose. I buckle my baby In every time we use it but her legs can still reach the arm bar. It does stick out significantly when folded. You need a bit more space to store the stroller folded with this attached on. It ended up breaking because I instinctually grabbed it when pulling stroller out of the trunk :/ pretty bummed because it is a pretty expensive replacement. The part that broke was a tiny plastic part inside the piece that clips onto the stroller & receives the most pressure.

This is a perfect fit in our City Mini GT2 stroller. It is really nice to have the crossbar to attach teething items and eventually use as an actual bar for our kiddo to hold on to. Certainly would be nice if the stroller came with this bar in the first place but that's just Baby Jogger trying to squeeze more money out of you.

Note this is an awesome belly bar with a great little grip but it doesn’t fit the first gen city mini gt

L'ho comprato perché quello del mio passeggino ancora nuovo si è rotto, strattonandolo per tirarlo su. Ci siamo rimasti malissimo, si tende a prenderlo da lì quando è chiuso ma non regge il peso del passeggino. Comunque il prodotto venduto qui è originale, giusto per passeggino singolo, spedizione veloce. Nulla da dire sul venditore!!

I am in Canada and this belly bar does fit the city Mini gt2 perfectly. I almost didn't purchase this because of other reviews so I felt I should make an update. This product is made for the stroller by baby jogger themselves.

Our toddler loves this bar for holding on/ sitting up and hanging toys whilst in the pram.

Much cheaper than most stores. Easy to fit. Great product
