My overall rating is a 5 stars because our dog absolutely loves the toy! It is a great tug toy and "launching" toy for fetch... Although she doesn't quite grasp the return part of fetching. She'd rather play "case me if you want it back!" I wish I had a better video but didn't think of making one until we were pretty much done playing. But you can see she's been playing hard up until this clip and is still wanting to play more... I'm the one exhausted. The rope part of this toy is what takes playing fetch to another level. Give it a good wind-up and let it fly! The weight of the ball carries it really far and very fast! More than I expected based on other toys one purchased. The first launch almost went over back wall of our yard! Skye didn't mind cause the rope made it easy for her to find it in the ivy. She loves throwing it around up in the air and flinging it around like cats throw their toys around. The ONLY issue is, of course is the durability. This toy is meant to be an interactive toy only. Once you're done playing, put it away if you want it to last. Especially if you have a dog that chews everything. It IS well made and of nice material, but no toy will survive her chewing skills. She'd have the rope chewed off in minutes. So it's up to the owner to keep this toy safe! If your dog isn't a chewer....I envy you and this toy will last a really long time! I would definitely recommend this toy for water or beach play as well. It's a big ball, but the rope and the groves in the ball make it very easy for her to grab. And if you don't want to use the rope to play, it fits into the groves around the ball and hooks into place. But honestly, we will never use that feature, the rope is the best part in my HER opinion! Definitely recommend and I'm going to buy more! I'm not thrilled with the price but everything is expensive these days,and if it's taken care of, it will last a long time.

My border collie loved this as a puppy but wore out the rope. I got her another now that she is a year old and she loves it still but the rope showed wear almost immediately. She runs dragging it behind her and watching it bounce and she also swings it back and forth banging it on her head often but, it's so lightweight I don't worry that she's doing any harm to herself.

My 60 and 85 lb dogs love this. Easy to throw and play.

Fun product that my dog and I enjoy throwing and playing tug of war with. I do wish they were more durable. The part of the rope where the human is supposed to hold comes apart during tug of war. I just tied a not on the end but not ideal. Also the ball can detain the rope after a while but my boxer is 80 pounds and pulls very hard so all blame does fall on the toy.

My dog loves this toy, took him a few try’s to figure out how to hold it. Looks like it should hold up on.

My six month Lab can’t quite get his mouth over it and then chewed the rope off within 24 hours of getting it. Now it’s been abandoned. Waste of money.

The dog loved chasing it and playing tug-of-war, but it lasted less than 30 days. If the outer rubber portion of cover was thicker, or all canvas material, it would probably last for a few months of rough play. May buy again if I can't find something similar to try.

I am an expert dog walker, and trainer. I take my dogs to the dog beach and this is by far the most popular toy when the dogs are playing together. They all want to play with this one! If you dog gets butthurt if another dog takes his toy, this will happen and maybe get a different one. The other part is it is great to throw, super durable and stays clean. Excellent design and excellent toy.

My border collie x kelpie’s absolute favorite toy. Has been loving it since he was 10 weeks 😭 He’s slowly learnt how to hold the heavy ball, dribble it while running, evolved his bite grip as his jaw has expanded and teeth erupting. I have such a good time myself with kicking, sling shotting and throwing the ball. He’s now 4 months and absolutely a beast with retrieval.

This is one of my dog's favourite toys. It can be thrown, kicked, or a bit of tug of war. It is hard but if you have a dog such as a black lab, it will see a lot of abuse. The attached bungee cord can be used to give a better arc when throwing the ball. The cord is very durable but after a period of hard playing (ie tug of war), the rubber where the cord enters the ball will start stretching and come apart. However, This ball lasted my lab for a full year before it started showing wear and tear. We recently purchased this replacement.
