I've been woodworking (professionally and now retired) for 40 years. In all my years using various router bits from various countries, these are the worst. The 1st pass (barely a 1/16" depth) left burn marks (even changing feed rates). Upon further inspection of the bit I noticed there wasn't any helix angle to the bit. The carbide is exactly parallel to the shaft. I'm not an engineer but these bits don't allow the wood chips to escape allowing the bit and work to heat up. Plus, I don't know the true quality of the carbide but that's probably an issue too. I would have given this a lesser review but Amazon's review program doesn't allow.

So far I only used them on softwoods so I can't say how well they would do on hardwoods. I had no issues with the softwoods but a router bit is only as good as the router they are used on so if your router does not have enough power these bits could burn up on you but that can be said about all bits.

For the price they are well built, they get the job done.
