UMR 100 LED Solar Security Light - 2020 Motion Sensor Outdoor Lighting w Magnetic Mounting, USB Battery Power, Dusk Dawn Detector - Ultra-Bright Wireless for Exterior Outside Driveway Yard Patio Deck

I have ordered 4 of these lights and love them. I have my own home, which has security cameras and high intensity motion lights at most areas, but had one corner that I needed lights at. I placed two at this corner so motion would be picked up at any direction. I ordered two more lights and placed them at the entryway to my other investment homes. Bright lights are a great deterrent as the "bad guys" don't know if your lights are wifi enabled to notify you if they come creeping around your house at night. Twice in 3 months, the bad guys have come into my neighborhood, at 2-3 am to break into cars parked outside. I have pulled up the security footage to see them the next day. They seem to cut their time short when the LEDs of a motion light comes on, on a driveway. Even my neighbors have mentioned how bright the lights are. And, I like that there are 5 LEDs on each side. Great product for the price, and saves with not having lights hardwired in. Because I put the two lights up, on metal gutters, on the investment homes, I used Gorilla Tape in stead of screws. The two lights at my house are placed with wood screws, on the facia board below the gutters. I placed the switch to #3 to save on the battery and so they will come on suddenly with full brightness when it senses motion. I've also seen them come on with heavy rain storms.

This is a very well made product. The finish is great, and feels that it will last outside weather for a long time. To get most out of this light, mount it so that it is facing south (in US), so that it gets maximum solar exposure. The sensors works better than most we I have used before.There is even a switch for three options. On Option 2, it remains dim, and upon activation becomes really bright. I prefer the short time for which it remains bright (unlike an earlier comment), because that ensures that the battery will not deplete just in few hours.This seems to be the best such solar light that I have bought so far at a really good price. Will report back on it in a few months on how it performs over time. So far I am very happy.(I actually wanted 2 x 40 LED product. I accidentally purchased the 80 LED product. I contacted the company and they promptly replaced it and shipped the ones I wanted. The company was really responsive. The picture you see if of 40 LED product mounted on a palm tree in our front yard, and of course it is facing South).Update: 2018/02/17:This product is amazing and is performing better than other products that are twice its cost. I will buy some more.

For now, this actually works like it’s supposed to. Hopefully it will continue to work and I won’t have to change this to a one star review. The light is fairly bright for something solar powered. It does a decent job of lighting up my entire backyard. It is mounted about 12 feet up on the side of my house. The motion sensor can pick up things in the middle of my backyard about 25 feet away. As of now, I’m happy with it.

It was exactly what I needed. I have had it about a week now and it is working like it should. I placed it on a metal shed to illuminate a path between 2 sheds. I had enough light to see most of my small back yard. I am using it in the mod more where it remains completely off until motion is detected. I felt insecure about using the magnetic base solely because of it snows ,the snow from the shed might push it loose and may fall. So I utilized the mounting holes to help secure it. The holes were too small so I had to drill them out a little. But I can still remove the light quickly if necessary to charge via the USB port. I don't think it will be necessary though. Very good product. The seller sent me a manual even before it arrived, so I think they are customer conscious.

I bought this after reading good reviews. However, the light, after being in sunlight all day, does not stay on for more than 4 hours. We live in Northern Nevada. Most days are bright and sunny. I have this light on my feed room for my horses. I have it on the ‘dusk to dawn’ setting. My hope was that it would laminate the horse area from “dusk to dawn”, as the name of the setting “dusk to dawn” would imply. However, the light goes off in 3 - 4 hours. I would NOT recommend this item to anyone!

I was my normal skeptical when I bought this as I have never bought one that I've been happy with as far as solar. I've never really written a review either but I had to about this light. I am literally Blown Away on how bright it is. From solar power only?? it's mind-boggling for a simple working Joe like me. Im not up on all the advancements but this seems to be one. A whole bunch of little lights instead of one big light seems to throw out a lot more light and I'm here to tell you this is a super bright light and it seriously works just as the description says and the picture shows. And if it lasts through the winter and keeps working into the summer I'll buy a bunch more to replace the electrical ones I have on my house and property I mean it runs on the Sun why wouldn't I. I was impressed with the light to begin with. After being installed for a week or so I noticed there is orange around Some of the led lights. Water leaked into the light. It still works but for how long? If you purchase this light run a bead of silicone caulk around the edges and tape the plug for recharging with a removable waterproof tape. Other than what I mentioned, the light is good.

I charged the light with USB the first time. The light has two brightness settings It lights up the area VERY WELL. The Battery last a long time and the battery is replaceable. This light is robust I dropped it twice and it still is perfect! Right now I'm using the light in side my cargo van, I turns on and off by it's self. Later on I will use the light out side the Cargo van when I'm camping for security and lighting when I let the dog out. I like this light because it is magnetic so I can remove it if I am in the shade and it needs charging by USB. I give this light 10 out of 10!!!!!Roger
