Excellent, as all of Dr Nida's books,

Junk book. Nothing in there.

This book does indeed provide an "overview," with a couple of paragraphs each on such diverse topics as tummo and dzogchen. It does not contain any original texts except for the or commentaries. It does contain the 7 page song of Yuthok Nyingthig. There are 4 commentaries on the root text and this book devotes a page each describing the commentaries. There are no practices here, and on its own this book seems to have little value. If the author is your lama then I expect it might come in handy.

Excellent Introduction to a Marvellous Practice

This is basically a pamphlet sized dictionary for newbies to tantra, a very small dictionary, it is not about the rainbow body, this is misleading, not pleased considering the price. Avoid. I really don't know how they can pump out stuff like this and charge people so much, not impressed at all. Nothing in here of use. Only Nida fans can give this book good reviews, same for the book Weapon of Lignt, its a pamphlet.
