Easy to swallow, no side effects - didn't have any effect in boosting magnesium levels but then again Oxide is one of the worse for absorption. It is, however, very good as a natural antacid taken alongside meals. I have tried other Magnesium tablets but they have given me stomach cramps but these don't and I certainly get a better night's sleep when I take them which I do about 2 hours before bedtime.
