Looks good like the one I had probably 30 years ago.
I used to have one of these probably 30 years or so ago. This one looks like it's actually made pretty good I didn't know what to expect it was hard to tell by the pictures. I hope it holds up because I've read reviews about people complaining they break real easy I guess time will tell.

Good,but made it better.
These are good to exercise with, but I bought some steel pulleys and made it better due to the plastic ones wearing out so easy. They get hot quick and will break. I know, I broke one after doing 300 reps. The steel pulleys I installed is a 100 per cent upgrade. They should make them that way.

Fun workout ropes, they really do work to get your loose belly in shape.
Great little invention that helps us get into shape, can be exhausting at first but easy and pleasant. Not sure about the durability ..just remember to stop every few minutes to let the wheels/pulleys cool down, as I've read they are capable of melting. So far so good, I had these ropes years ago when K-Tel sold them but they got misplaced. The ropes seem a little short, so you'll need to lay pretty close to the door, a yoga mat and small pillow is sufficient for comfort. Had it been made with metal pulleys ..it would've got 5 stars for durability and sturdiness. If you need to lose abdomen fat, this is the gadget for you.

It’s great! Here’s how you tie it on a handle
**Update Nov 19, 2024**Now, I do this rope pulley in the morning out of habit, core tight & shoulders off the floor, slowly:•20 individual leg lifts (laying on my R&Lside)•20 both legs together lift (up & down)•20 scissors leg lifts•20 straddle my legs apart inward& outwardBecause I saw tighter abs and stronger legs results in a matter of 2wks, I kept doing this ALONG with 20mins floor Pilates from Peloton.Seeing those continued results in this type of resistance training, I bought a Reformer Pilates machine —yup, right from Amazon…not going to give a studio my hard earned money for something I can clearly do at home watching YouTube Reformer Pilates videos.I still use this rope pulley machine! It’s quick & easy and you will see results—do it slowly, engage your core and keep your shoulders off the floor. Yeah it’s plastic component so treat it as such. Going slowly is the key anyway.I will say this, this is not for someone who is taller than 5’6”. These ropes are not long enough. For the price, go ahead and try it. It cost less than a lot of things I can think of. Commit to it and there you go…it may inspire you to do more, who knows.**previous review**I’ve included a pic of how to tie it on a handle type (not knob). It does not slide off. I’m loving this Body Exerciser! For reference, I’m 5’6” 112lb. 52 years old woman. I’m using this with my Peloton “Just Work Out” “Strength” feature. As 2022, instructions for a few exercises and how to tie it come with the Body Exerciser. If you look on YouTube, you see workout demonstrations. Type in “door knob gym rope exercise” something to that effect. Also, search pilates spring wall or pilates reformer workouts to gain some ideas.I just got this, I’ll update later how things are going.I looked throughout reviews on Amazon and read what kind of reps to begin with and pieced this together:Everyday—100 reps, twice daily, before breakfast and supper. Work up to 500 as quickly as you can, and you will have abs of steel. If you can’t do 100 reps, start out with 50 repetitions of 4 sets of exercise. This exerciser is probably better suited for 100 reps or less.

Not worth the money
I don't like the handles. They are cheap plastic that is ribbed and they pinch your hands and feet. I had one of these years ago and the handles were made of heavy plastic and were smooth so they didn't hurt your hands and feet. Definitely not worth $20.00.

Good for reducing body and neck strain
Inexpensive whole body workout. Easy to use, the durability seems to be very good. Does not take up much space. And you could travel with it if necessary. I'm 5'5" so the stretch and length of it seems to adequate. If you are tall then it's possible you may need a longer extension of rope.I've used it everyday for a week and I feel stronger already. I've used various different exercise movements to help get my lower, upper ab and obliques a workout. I only spend 15 minutes on my workout but have done it twice daily, not on work days. The best thing about it is it helps me lift my legs without stressing out my back and neck muscles which is an issue when doing core work without it. I use lifting gloves because the handles do cause a little soreness after gripping and pulling for the amount of time spent. I also lay down on a mat. I recommend this for people who need help lifting their own body weight/limbs to get a better exercise workout. Because of this, I feel I can go longer and less body strain.

New VS Original
Ok I own the original, it still works to this day. & yes I am old enough to have used this back in the day (I'm 50). Now this newer one...... well it's not as long as the original (this one is more for someone who is under 5'0" (I'm 5'3"), but I like the grips better (they won't get "stuck" in one position like the original). However, I do see me having to replace them in the coming months. I was going to keep this for myself but after trying it out I am going to have to give it to my youngest (she is the shortest). Now I will have a workout companion.

Great product!
I had a similar body exerciser 36 years ago. Somehow it became lost inbetween moving so many times. For me that was the perfect way to exercise but was frustrated that I couldn't find a replacement up until now! Not only an I'm happy to have finally found this again, I'm back on track! This item allows me to follow my physical therapy instructions at home, I had a total knee replacement surgery in October. I feel great, despite my sore muscles that haven't been used for years. This item is very easy to use, set up & put it away. I would highly recommend this product! (P.S. I paid the exact price for my replacement exerciser compared to my original exerciser 30+ years ago. And this one is made with better materials!!)
