DOVOCompatible Curved Straight Razor Display Stand

The stand is well balanced and holds my shavette in place, so it is simple, looks great, and does what you want it to do for a good price.

Had to try one out myself regardless of the negative reviews and they weren’t wrong. I’ve been looking for a stand for Feather Artist Club SR folding razor. This stand is very wobbly and not well constructed. Also what was shown on the site was not what I received. The design was different being the bottom holder. Pictures show that it has a half cut opening at the bottom where it holds the razor. The one I received was fully rounded out. Neat design but as far as functionality…this is just not it.

Pros: This is a very good stand for my shavettes because the tail fits in the hole in the lower support and there is no place for rust to form at the bottom of the tail like there is on my vertical stand where the tail sits in a divot in the base of the chrome stand and quickly rusts.I also really like being able to store my shavette with the blade partly open while it dries - don't have to close it.Cons: This stand needs a much heavier base. Every time I so much as touch my razor the stand falls over. I have to really concentrate to avoid that. It seems to fall over much of the time when I am taking the razor out of the stand. The stand is just too light.Summary: The functionality is really good and, in spite of it falling over so easy, would buy another unless I found one with a heavier base.

I nearly ruined a blade by dropping it in between lathering. This keeps the razor nicely out of the way and looks cool besides being functional.

They're not well made and very close to imbalance...I almost ruined a good razor trying to place it back in the stand. I purchased two of these and feel that I have wasted money. I'd advise anyone to avoid these stands...$300 razor falling off a $15 stand is less than acceptable

Very sturdy, very well made. It's the exact same thing or better than what these shaving companies are selling for twice the amount on their websites.

I just received this product, it did not come in a box but it was bubble wrapped securely. This is a poor design for holding a straight razor. The base is too narrow for the height of the arm creating a high center of gravity and wobbly holder. You can see from the foreground photo the height of the razor. By the way the curved razor stand directly behind it is from Super Safety Razors and is outstanding with a wider base and lower arm creating a stable stand.

Like Marco Roy, I got the wrong one. I went with the "chrome" - photo, "black" - description and got the chrome one. There is nothing on the box to indicate which is which. So I guess you take your chances. It's smaller than I thought it would be but it works well. I'd like it better if it were $15 and black.

Please check correctly match image and description, it's boring to return and item of 20$ lose times....
