I got this to replace my old mirror that completely fell apart and really am a fan of it. It is exactly what I was looking for and has been extremely handy. I’m one of those girls that like to sit down to do my makeup and simply don’t have the room for a vanity, so a portable and good quality mirror was a must.It’s medium-sized and a double-sized mirror which I absolutely love. One side is just your typical mirror, while the other side is magnified. While this is awesome, I will warn that you will literally see everything on your face, flaws and all. It makes doing makeup easier, especially when trying to get creative with your eyeshadow.This mirror to me is perfect. The base is heavy keeping it stable and the mirror stays in place well, not spinning to the opposite side like some tend to do. The glass is easy to clean and the stand is comfortable to grip.On top of that, it has LED lighting which is a huge plus for me considering how blind I am. It’s one of my favorite features of this mirror since my last mirror didn’t have lights.I all around really like this mirror and would recommend it.

Better then I expected! I needed a magnification mirror to do my make up because my old one broke. I had a normal mirror before but the light of this one makes a huge different!

This makeup mirror is large, heavy, durable and attractive. One side has normal reflection and the other side has 10X magnification. The bottom has black foam-like padding to keep the mirror from slipping. The mirror flips up and down easily (but not on its own if the handle is held at an angle) and it's very easy to clean and wipe smudges off.The only issue is that I can't open it up to insert batteries. I'm very good with my hands, as I've made jewelry, fixed watches, created craft items, natural products, etc. for years. I understand the instructions, but I just can't get it to open. So I asked my dad, who can break apart and build just about anything with his hands. He used his hands, tools, tape, etc., and could not get it open. I'm happy with this mirror regardless, but it would've been nice to have the light option. However, I didn't buy it just for the lights; I needed a new makeup mirror. Hopefully you'll have an easier time inserting the batteries. I gave up.

This is a great make-up mirror. It's battery operated so you don't have wires and need to worry about plugging it in. The lights are all around the mirror and you can see well. The magnified side is perfect when applying make-up.

So......the mirror and light work OK, but..........The mirror is made of plastic, not glass. When I went to remove the sticker on the surface of the mirror, I scratched the mirror with my fingernail. Really. Also, I the light is not adjustable, and for me it's not bright enough. The overall quality other than these things is very good, and I feel awful having to give a kind of negative review of a device someone clearly worked hard to design and fabricate. But let's face it, you are going to scratch that mirror.

I have only been using this mirror for a few days but so far it is great. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to get the case for the batteries open but ..after I took a closer look at the instructions it was easy. I have purchased a lot of various makeup mirrors over the years....this mirror is larger..has a nice weighted base...is clear..and honestly looks like it should have cost a lot more.

After reading all the reviews, I thought this would be a good makeup mirror, to replace the one I have, in which the light burned out. But compared to my older mirror, this is not a true 10x magnification, plus, the lights are not very bright at all. In fact, I can see better in my older mirror, with no light, than this new one with lights. Waste of my time! Returning

This is a great mirror, and I've used already to do my eyebrows - I had a good experience, and I can tell I will for time to come. Requires 4 AAA batteries, not included. I've provided pictures of the light off and comparing it to the size of my hand - the brightest the light goes - The button (press once on, and off. Hold to dim or brighten) And the instruction on how to open it to put batteries in.I got this as a gift for Christmas, and I am so happy with it.
