Buy now, thank me later
I've ordered 2 pairs so far (2 years ago!), will be ordering more. Originally ordered L and M, not sure which would work. Turns out both work and give me different layering options. I have worn these beyond reason! Hiked in them, worked on the house in them (think screws and tools in the pockets), worked in the yard in them (on my knees, on my butt, getting dirty), and traveled in them (pockets to hold everything you need, comfy enough to sleep in): these pants are hands-down the best for all of those activities! I can't tell you how many times I was convinced I'd torn/ripped them - only to find them in perfect shape. They wash well and so far all stains have disappeared with spot-treating. I do hang them to dry, but mostly because I hang most of my stuff - especially quick-drying items like these. I'm short (5'3") and don't find them too long with shoes on. I'm also curvy (160#), and find they stretch just enough in all the right places to keep them looking great and amazingly comfortable. If not for the zippers, I'd forget I had pants on, they're that comfy. They don't make friction noises, either, or pill at friction points: HUGE bonus! I've spent 3x as much (or more) for name-brand hikers in the past: NEVER again! These Baleaf hikers are it for me from now on. If you're looking for another great option and don't need the extra pockets, I also highly recommend the Baleaf joggers: same amazing material and comfort, although I find I need the L in that style. Enjoy!

The BEST!
I bought these pants for my trip to Mexico. I knew it was going to be extremely hot and humid. I had gotten heat rash on my legs a few years back in Europe from wearing improper pants and didn’t want that to happen again. I absolutely LOVED these pants! They are lightweight and breathable. I liked the high waist and the fact that I could draw the strings at my feet to keep the mosquitos off of my legs. They fit me so perfectly and I felt very cute in them!!! I am 5’7 / 120lbs and bought extra small. I can’t speak as to whether or not they are water resistant but they are so thin and light weight that I know they would dry very fast if they got wet. I highly recommend these pants and can’t say enough good things about them!

Runs small
I love the baleaf products, I have many of their shorts and leggings. I was super excited to see the hiking pants in hopes they were made in a similar fashion. I am really happy I read the reviews first and they were true - order up a size or two depending on how baggy you want the pants to be, otherwise, they will be skintight and not as conducive to free movement while hiking. The material is good, soft and not scratchy, waist is good, but just tight through the butt and legs, so if you have a thick build, order up a size.

An absolute must-buy
These pants exceeded my expectations. I bought them with the intention of hiking while traveling in the Dominican republic, they have become my go to pants for flights. They are lightweight, could easily be worn outside on the hottest day for sun and bug protection. They easily sink-wash and dry in the most humid environments. These are forever a staple in my travel and hiking wardrobe. Fit true to size. And the pockets are absolutely fabulous, especially when traveling.

Great for Travel
Just enough stretch, secure pockets with the zippers, and I love that they have the stretch cords at the bottom of the legs so I did not have pant hems flapping around. These were perfect for traveling. They were comfortable for our extended time in the airport and long flight after a day walking around outside at the Grand Canyon. They are a bit high waisted for the size I bought but not a deal breaker at all. I probably could have gone down a size but I liked the looser fit for travel. 260 lbs. 5’8”

Comfortable in any temperature
These pants are as comfortable at 80° as at 40°. They breathe, shield from wind, fit well. They have enough stretch for easy mobility. Lots of zipper pockets. For colder weather, I just wore a pair of felt lined leggings underneath. They wash easily, dry quickly. I was worried a bit at first about the super lightweight synthetic fabric but having field tested these for a couple of weeks from Arizona to Montana, I can say they are comfortable, easy, practical and, so far, quite durable.

Awesomely perfect!
I bought one pair of these pants and loved them so much I promptly ordered three more pairs in different colors! The fabric is light and comfy and the cut is also very comfortable. I'm usually a 6-8 in pants and ordered a medium, which fit perfectly -- not too snug, not too baggy. I'm nearly 5'9 and have fairly long legs, but the length is still decent with athletic shoes. In an ideal world they've be about an inch longer, but still good as is. I like these so much I've actively recommended them to friends and, now that I see they also do a capri version, will probably order a couple pairs of those. They wash beautifully and I've been hanging dry, but I'm about to try a low dryer setting; I'm pretty certain that would work fine.

Size can vary by color
I typically wear a size 16 so was between ordering an XL and XXL based on reviews. My first order received was XL in light green (slightly tight) and XXL in tan (too baggy). I reordered the light green in XXL which ended up being a perfect fit. These were great on my recent Alaskan cruise as it rained every day. They're great for light precipitation as they are only water resistant. I also had enough room to fit thermals underneath as well.

They are a little large
I like these, they're light, seem durable, and dry quickly. As a short person (5'2") they're a little long, but the drawstrings at the ankles are helpful for this.If you're in between sizes, I would size down.

Comfy but that's about it
Firstly, these aren't really waterproof. They're water resistant. Though they did dry relatively quickly. The fit is okay and they're comfy, but the pockets aren't big enough apart from the one on the Thigh, and the adjustable leg length is useless, they're too narrow near the ankle & calf to be able to pull them up enough to become capri length! For what they cost, I don't feel that they are worth it. Spend a bit more and get a decent pair from an outdoor store.

Super pratique et confortable
Le pantalon est super léger, élastique, très agréable à porter. J'aurais dû prendre la taille au-dessus je pense, donc taille un peu petit.
