Good text with great information about the home, school, community connection, but does have some "busy work" questions at the end of each chapter that I could do without. Great web resources.

It's for a graduate class and most of the information in the book is review of prior content knowledge in teaching. It's well written and worth it for the class.

If you are already teaching, this book offers little more that a reference for a paper. It's a bunch of things you already know.
