Awesome replacement to a tired 9002 Speedglas headband
I have the older Speedglas welding helmet and could not afford to upgrade to the newer one. 3M is slowly phasing out the replacement parts for the 9000 series welding helmets. I needed the replacement thumbscrews but couldn't find any. I tried replacing the entire headband assembly with the newer Speedglas headband but it will NOT fit. Amazon has great return service. Luckily I found this replacement on Amazon. I plan on buying another headband to keep as a spare.

Fit our welding helmet that we've had for YEARS and haven't been able to find the correct headband that fit. Finally came across this and not only did it fit, but is comfortable to wear.

Few dollars more than the cheapest, is it worth it???????
Slightly better than the thermold, nicer knobs and hardware, and a decent sweatband, worth the extra few bucks? Yeah, if you appreciate a more comfortable experience, and not have the helmet drop down unexpectedly, get the 3M model, instead of the generic thermold.

Fits my speedglas 9002x helmet great!
This speedglas head band fit my speedglas 9002x helmet great! It's nice to have my welding helmet stay up and not fold down on me when I'm working with it up. Fits good, makes my helmet feel new again!

Good replacement
had min for about 15 years one drop and it shattered, glade to see there are replacement parts for it.
